This cute cafe/restaurant, located in a corporate building, offers a pleasant business vibe with high ceilings, plenty of natural lighting, and an abundance of plants, making it a pleasant place to sit. However, the presentation and delivery of the food are appalling, and there is a lack of effort put into quality.
I ordered the lamb quesadilla, and not all the items described on the menu were present in the dish. The lamb was dry and seemed like it was taken out of the freezer, the bread was hard, and the overall taste was unappealing. On other occasions, I have tried their general breakfast items like eggs and toast, which were pretty average because the ingredients were fresh. However, if you're looking for a cafe that serves decent food and coffee, this place isn't it.
I also attended a wedding catered by this cafe, and it was probably the worst wedding food I've ever had. The dumplings were dry, the burgers were cold, and they ran out of plates, serving the burgers directly on the tablecloth.
A lot needs to be improved at this cafe. It's one of my worst dining experiences. Head over to Mi Casa for a better experience. Additionally, I've bought coffee from here a dozen times, and it's not worth the money—it's usually quite milky, and the barista isn't talented. The menu sounds appealing but what you get does not meet any standards. Overall, I would not recommend this cafe. The smoothies aren't nice...
Read moreFood and coffee was excellent, I ordered turkish eggs. I would have liked more turkish bread to dip, as there was too much yoghurt vs toast and perhaps some tomato (still delcious and I highly recommend). Well priced except for my haloumi which was $6 but perhaps this is inflation. Surprisingly spacious and plenty of seating (I'd thought I'd have to wait to get a table since I did not book). Service prevented 5 stars (to be fair they were busy and had junior staff) so this feedback is for training purposes and not out of spite. My friend was told to sit anywhere on arrival. I arrived to find them sitting at a crumbed table with no menu or water. I had to get up and find my own menu. When we found someone to take our order, I asked so do we just help ourselves to the water? (noting that every other table had water), the waitress replied sure you can help yourself. I was slightly shocked, I had to ask her to clean our table when she took our order and then thought she would offer to get us water at the very least. Not a huge isssue all cafes get busy, but small details can improve customer experience (the waitress did apolgise initially for not seeing us). I saw the same staff sitting at a spare table later on their phone (perhaps it was a break/perhaps they are the owner) but when I was working in hospitality this was considered rude (especially given it was...
Read moreBeen here for the 2nd time now. First time was okay, 2nd time not so much:
No single origin coffee available 😭😭 Coffee was well extracted but just really bland…. Even the first time the S. O wasn’t really extracted well, still some goodness left to get out, which is strange because they have good grinders! There’s an EK just sitting there!!!! Use it for the SO’s!!!!!
Food: I got the pastrami sub, which was unfortunately not so good. Needed seasoning and the sauce was wrong…. Tasted like a hollandaise, eggy and buttery, was SEVERLY clashing with the acid of the pickles. I wasn’t going to say anything but the lovely staff member ask “how is everything” I explained what happened and how the sauce ruined the dish, she said she would check the menu and was a garlic Dijon mustard Aioli, I said it wasn’t, tasted weird and she said I’ll let the kitchen know with no other fix. I’m sorry but just don’t ask if you don’t want feedback. Feel like $26 was a bit pricey for what it was but they gotta pay for their multimillion dollar building somehow!
I hope to see everyone improves soon. It has such amazing potential. Just need less canned ingredients and more fresh house...
