Sam's Gourmet Pizzas — Restaurant in Logan City

I have to say, after eight long years of searching, I finally found a pizza that truly stands out. I try a new pizza almost every week, and I’m always on the lookout for something different. But this pizzeria absolutely delivered.

I’d heard about their pizza about a year ago, but they were in the process of relocating. Finally, last week, I went with three of my family members just out of curiosity. The moment we walked in, we were greeted by a very distinguished gentleman named Zeinuddin, who told us he wanted to make sure we left happy that night. And he did.

When I asked what flavors they offered, he simply asked what flavors would bring us joy. Each of us described what we liked, and he asked about the ingredients, the level of crispiness we preferred, everything. And then he brought us a miracle on a plate. Each one of us felt like we got exactly the pizza we had been dreaming of.

For me, it was a revelation after eight years of trying different pizzas week after week. For my family, it might have been just in the last year that they found a pizza they really liked, but for me, this was truly different.

The place is spotlessly clean, brand new, and run by three brothers who really care about their customers. Everyone around us seemed happy as well. Apparently, they use the name “Sam’s Pizza,” but honestly, I was just thrilled to find a place where you can choose exactly what you want, down to how it’s cooked.

I have recently had very bad experiences at your store on three seperate consecutive occasions at off peak times. I was given a 30 min waiting time after which I went to pick up my order and it still wasn’t ready. On the third occasion in particular we witnessed an individual who came into the store and took one of the staff members aside out of the store and a had a personal argument that went on for a few minutes while we were waiting for our order. After 30 minutes we then were told our pizza was burnt and they put in a new pizza for us without asking. We told the staff members we can’t wait anymore and asked for a refund but was refused a refund and after another 15 minutes was given the pizza. we called afterwards to speak to the manager and we were given an In store credit I really believe that we were not dealt with professionally at all! The staff on the phone told us herself that they are understaffed.

Overall these were horrible experiences and customer service needs to be immediately improved as this seems like a regular occurrence as another customer was also telling us about how long they were waiting.

We are very regular customers at your store and have noticed a very drastic change in your staff members service and attitude to customers. Waiting times are just ridiculous given that all these experiences took place at very quiet off peak times. We don’t plan on having sams pizza any time soon but hope that things will improve as we do want our fellow halal Muslim owned...

The two pizzas were amazingly well presented. You know how what you get never looks like the picture in the ad? These look like the ad. Stuffed with ingredients, sauce added well, just looked amazing. On the other hand, garlic bread was actually less impressive than what you get from a chain. Seemed reheated.

Shockingly large pizzas. Would have made the deal really good value. At least 1.5x larger than what a chain gives you. On the other hand, garlic bread was small.

...But the presentation and size didn't add up when it came to flavour. It just wasn't there. There wasn't nearly enough BBQ sauce on the meatlovers and the hawaiian was just...not right. Just completely lacking in appeal. The garlic bread was an afterthought, soggy and unappealing.
