Went for dinner, ordered a full boneless chicken meal with the garlic soy sauce and cheese sauce as well as a spicy tteok bok ki. Firstly the garlic soy on the chicken was the best bit. From there it went downhill. The cheese sauce didn’t even taste like cheese it tasted exactly like melted butter. Not only that but we ordered it with the sauce and still had to ask staff for it as it didn’t come out with the chicken. The tteok bok ki we ordered the spicy version. It definitely wasn’t spicy. The best decision we made was to add cheese to it as the rest of it tasted no better than a canned tin of spaghetti. Definitely wasn’t the best food I’ve had out and staff didn’t seem to care too much. They were no where to be seen when needed or had their backs to us when we were looking to call them over. One other table over the other side were a few drunk people that were carrying on which was rather disruptive as well. Overall not a fan for the price we paid. Will definitely be going somewhere else as I don’t believe it was worth it for the money we paid.

what an amazing night this was, great quality food and the manager is sooo friendly and helpful, my sister had her birthday here and the manager helped set up the cake and everything! my favourite dish was the garlic snowing chicken, I recommend getting it boneless it's amazing, it was so good I got takeaway for myself too! we also tried regular fried chicken, snowing curry chicken and the kimchi pancake which were also yummy. the seafood pancake and biscoff bingsu were highlights for me with awesome flavour. the kbbq was great too, the pork belly was my fave and the mushrooms were to die for!! the teokbokki comes with not only rice cakes but also ramen, which makes it really good. only thing I would suggest to improve is the corn cheese, it didn't really have a great flavour. everything else was perfect though. price was about $30pp which I think is great value considering we got a couple of soju bottles too. the fantastic food with friendly service and atmosphere made the night awesome, can definitely recommend this place!

Reservation Experience: We reserved a table for 8 at 12:30 PM two days in advance and even received a reminder email the day before. However, when we arrived promptly at 12:30 PM, our table was not ready. We were asked to wait, and since there were eight of us, some members of our group had to stand outside. This was quite disappointing, especially given the advance notice. Food: The food was excellent — we ordered a few, but I would say the chicken, bulgogi, and seafood pancake were the best. Definitely 5 stars for the quality and taste. Service: We ordered pat bingsu when the chicken was served, and the staff asked if we wanted it right away or after the meal. I requested it right away, but it never arrived. When I followed up at the counter after finishing our meal, it became clear the order had been forgotten. Atmosphere: The space was a bit crowded, which made it feel a little cramped. While the food was very good, there's definitely room for improvement in service and overall guest experience.

As I sit here attempting to capture the essence of our cherished experiences at Bob Jo, I find myself transported back to those delightful moments, immersed in the enchanting flavors of South Korean cuisine. It's no wonder that this gem of a restaurant has become our go-to destination, where my son, partner, work team, and I indulge in the finest culinary offerings that Mandurah has to offer.

From the moment we step foot inside Bob Jo, we are greeted by the warmest smiles and the unmistakable aroma of tantalizing spices that awaken our senses. The inviting atmosphere sets the stage for a culinary adventure that never fails to leave us awe-struck.

Let me begin by expressing my utmost admiration for their fried chicken. It is nothing short of a masterpiece. Crispy, golden perfection encasing succulent, tender meat that practically melts in your mouth. With each bite, we are transported to a world where flavor reigns supreme, and where every morsel is a celebration of taste and texture. Bob Jo's fried chicken truly raises the bar and has spoiled us for any other rendition.

Now, let's talk about soju. Oh, the soju at Bob Jo! It's like a magic elixir that unlocks laughter, camaraderie, and unforgettable memories. The extensive selection of this traditional Korean spirit is a testament to the restaurant's dedication to authenticity and providing an experience that captures the essence of Korean culture. Sharing a round of soju with my loved ones or work team has become a cherished tradition that adds an extra layer of joy and conviviality to our visits.

Beyond the culinary delights, Bob Jo holds a special place in our hearts due to its exceptional service and personal touch. The staff genuinely goes above and beyond to make each visit feel like a homecoming. They remember our names, our preferences, and even take the time to share stories about the origins of the dishes, making us feel like part of the Bob Jo family.

To say that Bob Jo is merely a restaurant would be an understatement. It is an enchanting portal that transports us to the heart of South Korea, offering a symphony of flavors and a heartfelt sense of hospitality. Whether I am sharing a delightful evening with my son and partner or treating my work team to a well-deserved feast, Bob Jo continues to exceed our expectations, leaving us craving more with each visit.

If you find yourself in Mandurah and seeking an extraordinary culinary experience, don't miss the opportunity to discover the wonders of Bob Jo. Embrace the tantalizing world of their fried chicken and soju, and allow yourself to be swept away on a gustatory journey you'll...
