The museum was a great activity to do as a young family. With a jail, cells, a court house and a classroom to experience. There's plenty of artifacts and photos and interesting things to do and see. The museum also put on a treasure hunt for the kids at Christmas where you go around to find Christmas decorations to solve the puzzle and receive a prize. We also made bookmarks and a paper chain. Staff were friendly and helpful. Some of the interactive displays didn't work during our visit. You could even dress up in Old school clothes and ring the school bell, pretend to be a judge, type on the typewriter, speak loudly into the old phone and catch a paper fish and measure it to see if you...

From the pleasant staff to the many information posters and plaques, kids activities that spark the imagination and make you pay attention, it is a pleasant, air-conditioned museum that is a great indoor activity when it's either too hot or too cold outside.
