Some Staff members of this Club excel! However, the experience of visiting this club overall is 'under-whelming'. This is sadly due to the Bistro food, which is consistently of poor quality, less than 'pub grub' and with servings smaller than ever and each time we attend, drinks are more expensive with a smaller range.. Tonight again, there are signs saying "Price Increase as of 20th December"! Tonight, all of my meal was Cold, so suspecting they forgot to to turn on the Bain-maries. We are consistently disappointed and we're aware so many others are, and so have decided to eat elsewhere instead of at this Club. A sad state of affairs. I understand that take-away containers cost 50 cents now, though many people just walk away from meals (even prawns) let alone wanting to take any of this food home. With regret, we now cannot recommend this Club to anyone. Perhaps the Cook ought to attend the Granville Tavern to experience the meals which are served there which are consistently of good quality, fresh, hot, and generous serves. Parking was a problem and there were few disability parking spaces, and these were occupied . However if you keep driving around a space will turn up.This was on a Wednesday lunchtime so at more popular times getting a convenient park might be a real difficulty. Once inside the place was cool and pleasant. The decor is garish and dated. Friendly reception but a bit of a bottleneck signing in. Comprehensive menu and good service. Food was timely and nicely served. Nothing really stood out. The food was a good average correctly done meal. Salads are very small but well dressed. Average prices on food and good on soft drinks. Although there were a lot of staff around there seemed to be a reluctance to clear away the empty...

We had a great experience at the Maryborough Services & Citizens Club while celebrating a family member’s birthday. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the range of food options was impressive—everything we ordered tasted fantastic and was very reasonably priced.

It was also great to see a dedicated kids’ area, which makes it a family-friendly spot. The staff were all genuinely lovely and added to the overall positive vibe of the place. As a bonus, we even won a meat tray in one of the raffles, which was a fun surprise!

We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Maryborough, and I’d happily recommend this venue to others looking for a relaxed and enjoyable...
