Tottally agree 亞洲首富's comment, their service attitude was too poor and lousily UNACCEPTABLE,. Our experience was reverse to 亞洲首富, our booking was at 6PM with 13 adults, they urged us to do ordering first as to avoid waiting too long, fine, we did but we reminded them again and again do not serve the dishes out before 6PM untill all guests arrived, they said sure, then they started to serve some dishes at 5:42pm while our guests had not arrived completely, even unbelievably the dessert had taken out at the same time, holy sheeps! They should have explained to us in advance, and/or like 亞洲首富, you must place order earlier or you may need to wait for over an hour or so if you are happy, stay and wait patiently or leave or camcel your booking. Neverthless we did have coped with them but just expected them to do serving food when all guests arrive completely, or right upon the booking time of 6pm even guests were not completely arrived. After we strongly complaied they stopped to bring new dishes out. Another worse attitdue and service were, perhaps she was the same waitress as 亞洲首富 mentioned, we had agreed to oder the tea for all 13 adults at A$2.80/head,they should have taken only one normal tea pot out which was far insufficient at all, when we requested for another tea pot, this waitress should have responded we might need to pay more, how rediculous it was! We were paying 13 person's tea cost but only could enjoy and share for one normal tea pot! We did argue with her and to her boss, if we had just 5 guests we would get one tea pot, and another 5 guests sitting at another table would get at least one tea pot still, but why we have 13 guests stiing at one table and pay the full costs could only get one tea pot, it was NOT RIGHT at all. Then the boss agreed to give another tea pot! Overall, their service attitude was totally NOT ACCEPTABLE, feel being ripped off and mocked around. We would even eanted give out minus stars instead of one star if available. I am a typical...
Read moreit's hard to find a Chinese restaurant that specialising in hunan cusine in Melbourne. Came across this newish restaurant and decided to give it try. Hunan cuisine is famous for being spicy. When we placed our order, we did particular ask for as spicy as they should be and don't tune down the spicy level. The foods were disappointing. Beer duck was being pre cooked and totally lost the duck flavours it should have, and the flavour of beer sauce didn't get into the meat, ended up with flavourless broken duck meat pieces. The ribs were overly salty. Home style tofu and the Mao's braised pork belly was alright and nothing too special about them. Not to mention that the service was poor, restaurant was not busy at all and staffs didn't seem to have any idea of what they should be doing. Price-wise, I would not say it is value of money for the portion, quality of foods and the level of service you...
Read moreI googled the opening hours before we came. But when we were arrived just after 5pm, the restaurant was dark, although it was showing open on the door. I pushed the door and went in. All the staffs were sleeping in the restaurant, and all the dirty dishes they had were left on the table. We apologised and felt awkward. Taste of dishes was very nice, and no need to order for the new dishes. Those general and original ones were good enough. I pulled a long black hair out from the stired fried spicy pork. The waitress helped to change. We asked for additional bowl of rice and coke. They were nice on the face but a bit attitude at the back when we asked for coke. We respected they were busy, however definitely space to...
