7 Grams Cafe — Restaurant in Melbourne

Edit:- considering the owners have conveniently ignored this review and replied to other reviews, my rating is downgraded to 1 star, maybe it doesn't matter much to the owners, but am taking my business elsewhere, LaManna cafe just a few 100mtrs away at least has fixed pricing and they don't seem to change their pricing at will.

I'm a pretty regular customer at your place, I really do not have any complains with regards to the quality or quantity of the food which is actually good value for money, I am however a tad disappointed at being charged for extra yoghurt in the salad, Now I understand you have a business to run and its Ok to be charging customers extra, As a regular, I would certainly have appreciated if I was informed about the extra charge before hand as obviously I have never been charged for that before. lastly I paid $12.75 for a salad which would have normally cost me $10.00. I ended up paying 2.75 for extra yoghurt. Now please have a look at the attached photo and If you agree that spot of yoghurt is worth $2.75, I have no more complains. My go to Cafe every morning. This place has to be one of the best grab and go cafes in Melbourne, I'm a coffee maniac and 7 the team at 7 grams has to serve one of the best coffees out there but ontop of that they nail it, Every. Single. Morning.

It doesn't stop there, they have a slick food offering of freshly made salads, hand made sandwiches and a hot bar, I couldn't pick a favourite here because everything is so damn good (this is coming from a chef of 15 years)

Finally what makes the place really incredible is the service, the second you step in even if the place has ques out the door you are greeted (by name if a regular) assisted and quickly helped to understand what's on offer. The vibe in there is always buzzing, banter is flowing between staff and customer and the team members are always hard at work and great communicators.

These guys really bottom line are just a bunch of absolute legends. Never a dull day...

Such a nice authentic cafe with very high quality of coffee and lots of bakery choices. Portuguese tart looks really good. They don't have drink menu, they have coffee and non coffee option, tea, matcha, juices, etc. Coffee are smooth and good. Matcha also very good. They uses real Japanese matcha powder. Tgey have alternative milk option. They also have sandwiches, yogurt, salad, etc, plenty of breakfast and lunch options. They have high brench with sitting inside and outdoor tables for dine in option. Staff are friendly but very busy. Be patient when visit. Credit card payment has surcharge. Very convenient with public transport, they located on main road, tram just outside. Plenty of off street parking nearby. Will definitely come back for...
