Abbey Road- Love the open air environment, on a hot day, maybe some fans would be ideal, hanging from ceiling. Ordered the Vegan Salad with Halloumi extra for $35.50. I would suggest- as ‘Roasted Pumpkin’ is the first mentioned ingredient in this dish, it was slightly disappointing to only receive bare amounts of the pumpkin- the majority of the dish was ‘Baby Spinach’. Likewise, more Avocado would have made this dish a totally amazing 5/5 star option. Overall, the pickled Radish combined with the ingredients was a highlight & tasted superb with the Halloumi. For $35.50- I don’t think it would be that difficult to add more Roast Pumpkin & Avocado. The Mango Passionfruit Smoothie $14.00, with Bonsoy was SO tropical and refreshing- highly recommend. It was difficult to get the attention of staff to place an order, but once they came, the girls were very helpful. Will be back again for a second try at this particular Vegan Salad- hopefully with more Pumpkin & Avocado. Altogether $49.50 is ‘up there’ for a Salad with Halloumi & a Smoothie. So, I would expect a totally amazing Salad for this price. My friend ordered the Fish & Chips- it looked nice.

We dined at 11;30 on a Wednesday. It was the most stunningly beautiful spring day. There were tables available inside and outside. The staff were super friendly and helpful sharing menu suggestions and taking an interest in our experience. The decor was chic and intriguing, with little spaces of different character here and there. As it was such a beautiful day, we sat outside to take advantage of it. The breakfast and lunch menus were extensive and appetising. My beautiful wife had the prawn salad and I had the pork ribs. The food arrived very quickly and it was perfectly prepared and presents. My chips, onion rings and ribs were flavoursome, with the pork falling off the bone. Often, you end up wearing the rib sauce, but not this time. My wife’s salad was richly textured, with halloumi, roasted macadamia nuts and an avocado all included. My dirty chai latte was exquisite. The seating was comfortable and the atmosphere had us parked up for a good while.

Ideally, we would rate it 2/5 but only for Pizzas we'll be a bit generous. We have been to this chick-looking eatery / bar couple of times, for breakfast, brunch, and dinner simply because we loved the vibe and Pizzas the first time we had dinner here. Thereafter, every time, it has only disappointed us. The lavazza coffee was bad, tasted burnt (over-extraction, guess). Chai was extremely sweet, Shakshuka with chorizo tasted okay but not something to dig into other than that, and Egg Benedict lacked flavors which we are usually used to. In short, quite okayish for us. But, we do return for their Pizzas and Sangrias. Slightly expensive compared to what you are paying for but Pizzas are worth every dime. Sometimes, depending on how busy they are, there could be inconsistency with the taste, thus, need to have less.expectations. Hospitality is warm and ambience rocks.

As we were waiting for the bank to open, we decided to grab breakfast at Abbey Road on Acland Street. We found the service very good and I loved how the owner himself was helping cleaning the tables and also asking all patrons if they were happy - it felt very personal. The coffees were very nice and strong - exactly what one needs this early in the morning. We both got the Abbey Road Breakfast, which was very nice. The sausage, in particular, was very tasty. It also came with a very generous serving of bacon. The reason I didn't score it a 5 is because, as a whole, it was lacking a bit of flavour - the spinach was just sautéed, but there was no flavour in it and the beans tasted like they were out of a can. These small remarks aside, everything was really nice and, at $19, it offered a really good value.

This place has a good vibe. Nice music playing and fun and lively atmosphere. Love it's timings because it is open till late and the menu is gigantic. Lot's of food and drinks options. The Iced coffee was not so great but tap beer was good. We also ordered Chicken Risotto and Lamb Souvlaki. The risotto was nice and tasty but the lamb tasted a bit under. So, we asked one of the staff who was happy to replace it. But they made us wait too long for it and bringing different order instead. After waiting for about 30-40 minutes we got our order. But it did not taste great. It was just alright and have tasted some great same dish. But it was fun sitting there and enjoying the vibe. It was very busy and the staff was friendly as well.

I did not eat my meal, it tasted horrid. Maybe it was just my taste or something was wrong with the meat, noone on the table was game enough to taste and we didn't see a wait person to ask so i just left it while everyone else finished their meals. The cafe itself is decorated wonderfully, and the vibe is cool, the staff you don't see once they have taken your order and there is no uniform so you wouldn't be able to tell who was staff anyway. When it came to paying the bill cashier asked how everything was and i explained it was horrid and left on the table. I still paid for it, hoping it wasn't the meat it was just my taste, i didn't get sick off the one mouth full so maybe it was just me???
