What a brilliant community space with creative gardens and facilities including toilets and outdoor kitchen to prepare food and share meals. An amazing demonstration of good food production in a small space, blocks away from the coast, and across the road from the famous amusement park. I loved the personalisation of the individual garden beds, and the trust culture - unless you grew it, don't pick it.

Excellent idea to have a veggie garden where you can go and plant your own plants in your own little plot. Fully fenced off and engine to vegetable planting areas People that want to plant say vegetables or fruit or anything like that. They also have a barbecue and have a certain nights and days away they get everyone together as a community. I think it's a fantastic idea

Beautiful & Diverse Community Garden with artistic influences. VegOut is an asset to the St.Kilda Community.. Epecially in light of there being a lot of apartments in the area which have little/no green spaces or outdoor areas. Very friendly locals involvement makes it extra special. Really impressed with this place! Absolutely Love it! 🐞

I can see how this would be a peaceful and tranquil place to sit and relax 5⭐for that. I went a couple of days ago to enquire about the artist rooms that I was told are for rent. There is no signage where anything but the veggie patches are I saw a floorplan of the rooms, but there doesn't seem to be any is no information of whom contact or any contact details for anyone controlling it all. (Figuring someone has to)

The volunteer on duty, proudly announced he didn't have a clue bec he was just a volunteer, took another swig of the Sol Beer in his hand and went to stand next to his 6pack on the bench. When I was done walking round I asked if it was ok to use the toilet he simply state* it's a public place, I don't care what you do" I went on line to see if I could find anything about the artist rooms but it was very limited. I sent an email to a person on the website so...

I loved Veg Out Community Gardens in St Kilda. It's very well kept, clean, quirky and a great little spot for some time out. There's animals to keep you entertained, gnomes to hunt, relics that have been recycled and reused from the old lawn bowls club. I highly recommended to anyone who’s artsy, quirky or has children to pop down for visit. Hours of entertainment and just an all round great atmosphere if you feel like a break or...
