Update 12feb2022: Dine in | Lunch | walk in Panfried Tasmanian Salmon Salad $32.50 Excellent value. The dish included, along with the salmon, chargrilled vegetables (pumpkin, cucumber strips, artichokes, mushrooms), black olives (tho I did not have), salsa verde, saffron-shallot dressing, balsamic onions, lemon and lavender mustard dressing. Served on bed of mixed leaves, fresh dill and Vietnamese mint pieces, along with mini-capers to replace the olives for a touch of salt. The fragrance was so refreshing and uplifting on placing the dish on the table and brought a smile to my face. The serving size, I think, is enough to be a share plate, but I enjoyed every mouthful. Nothing conflicted. Nothing drowned. Delicious lightness on a beautiful sunny day. My first outing since Christmas Day. I was happy. Recommend. ~~~~~~~ A long-time favourite, today wanted something light, so ordered from the Antipasti menu--Pumpkin frittata. Just enough. Fresh, delicious, light. No picture. Had a glass of the Sangiovese red, delicious. For dessert, tried a new dish, the Vegan Coconut Bounty Bar. 10/10. Consisting of small chocolate cake, with coconut and chocolate mousse inside the cake, like a light layered sponge, and coated in a crispy chocolate casing, topped with coconut chantilly. Passionfruit sorbet. To. Die. For.

We were with another couple and came here for a second night in Melbourne. Dinner the night before was absolutely atrocious but I won't mention Il Gusto here!. We were offered a table for four out on the footpath but because of the dodgy whether we asked if we could be seated inside. The lady that assisted us and I'm sorry I didn't get her name was absolutely fantastic. Once we were seated the gentleman call Paul took out order and then we were in for a treat. The style here is upmarket casual the service reflected the food certainly does and the prices rashly quite reasonable given the quality of the food that was served. Normally I'm a bit weary about restaurants that have large menus but when I found out but they have something like a dozen chefs then my mind was put at ease. Absolutely no complaints from any of us about the quality of the food or the service given and although we're from Sydney next time we come down in Melbourne for sure we'll be coming here no question. If you're reading this and you live here in Melbourne and you have a gem.... What the hell are you waiting for? Thanks once again to all the staff and also Lachlan at the bar. You all made the experience worth every cent.

I have eaten at Rococo's a couple of times lately as well as many times pre-covid lock down. The restaurant is usually pleasant and I like the outdoor area however on the most recent of visits the experience was not as good. Inside was far too noisy so we moved outside. We ordered drinks which came quick, and then having waited for over 45 minutes and asking on 3 occasions if we could order we finally had our orders taken. The couple next to us were baffled as to how they arrived after us and received their food before we even had our order taken! By this time one of my friends had fell asleep! Having been out in the sun all day and waited over an hour to get some food it was so late and eating was just so unpleasant. The following week my friend and I visited again (his idea) and I chose the CALABRESE D.O.C pizza. Would have been good if the basil paste wasn't on it. It made it an unpleasant scramble of conflicting flavours in my mouth. On the plus side the garlic bread was good and the large portion size is decent. And if you have any fussy vegan friends they will love chomping on it. I will update my review on my next visit depending on the service.

Now this place can really put on a delish array of food. We ate pastas, pizzas, seafood and kids meals and they all were scrumptious but to me the standouts were the pastas, the flavours were so mouth watering in all honesty every bite made you want more. My favourite was by far the prawn spaghetti with lemon dill and tomato's. Not shy on the prawns 💪🏼 and the flavour was so fragrant, a light aroma but packed a punch with the lemon and dill combo! The light creamy tomato 🍅 base was perfect, such a unique pasta and spaghetti was the perfect pasta pairing. Kids enjoyed great wood fired Margarita pizza and spaghetti meatballs, the servings were big so relax no cheapo nuggets and chips here. Food is pricy each past dish was ranging from $32-$40+ but keep in mind it's not your basic pasta here. But do be prepared to spend on your meal. The place is banging with people always so make sure you book and don't be shy to call the waiters over for help as they're slammed about 100% of the time so be kind and patient but it's worth it.

Ever since the last time we visited this awesomeness, it has become our favorite among many on Acland Street. They have managed their standards and quality which is quite rare. Their Chargrilled Calamari is the Best so far we have eaten.in Melbourne. Succulent and flavorful. And their Pizzas are sooooooooo GGOOOOOODDDD. Also, their Red.Sangria is AMAZINGLY refreshing. 4/ 5 (A Year ago, around Easter) Glad we went here for the Sunday Brunch. Totally worth the value as portions are big and yummy. Rococo @ #StKilda also do awesome crispy and yummy #Fries. Coffee and Hot Chocolate were too good. Ordered a Chilly Omlette and Smoked Salmon with Potato Salad, Fries, Hot Chocolate and Piccolo. Chilly omlette and fries were our favorite. Almost all the tables had ordered fries and it's impossible to not order them. Second-best was smoked salmon. It was quite a task to finish the hot chocolate. Their menu boasts of plenty of options for Vegans and Vegetarians. Definitely recommended.

Rococo is based in the heart of bustling Ackland Street and is your go-to spot for tasty Italian fare. As with many cafes on this street, there's the option to eat al fresco. Take in the sights, pat the many dogs walking past with their owners, and catch a few rays. Alternatively, eat inside. The staff are friendly and helpful. Not much more to say on this. Most importantly, the food is excellent. Pizza, pasta, paninis, an excellent selection of breakfast and brunch menu items. We had the pancakes and paninis and loved them. The pancakes are fluffy, Japanese style, really good! Most of the customers around us were loving their food too. Once you've eaten, turn to the left or right out the door and get yourself some seriously good cakes from the neighbouring shops. You'll be hard pressed to find better in Australia.
