On 29 October 2022 for our Brunch Date we went to Affinity on Errol ✨

We got: ☕️ Iced Latte

🍔 Breakfast Burger + Halloumi This is a classic and they made it just right! The egg was cooked perfectly, buns were nicely toasted, hash brown was crispy and the additional halloumi added the extra savoriness to the burger 😋

🍲 Kinoko & Crispy Tofu Rice Bowl + Fried Egg This is something special that you need to try in this cafe! Same as the burger, the egg yolk was perfectly runny and fully coated the rice, the tofu was soft to the touch, and the star of the show ⭐️ the mushroom broth ⭐️ was incredible ‼️ It was the first time I’ve tried something like this and I’m now obsessed!

Overall, this cozy place is the perfect place to have a nice and intimate brunch/lunch with classic western and japanese influenced menu that were done perfectly ✨ We definitely see ourselves coming...

A serendipitous discovery on route to errands, I was drawn to an innovative menu melding Western crowd-pleasers with Japanese favourites, giving the best of both worlds.

The Miso Ocean Trout lunch set had a little bit of everything. The fish had a burst of briny flavour, being the highlight of the meal. Like so often in a Bento Box, every ingredient was in harmony with its neighbours. After every morsel was devoured, one feels satisfyingly well fed without that bloated sensation or gluttonous guilt. The iced black sesame "latte" was refreshing with just enough sweetness to be memorable.

Friendly service in an unpretentious, casual setting, this place is great for that relaxed brunch when you fancy something a bit different. I left in curiosity about the Okonomiyaki Your Way... a reason to go back...
