People usually judge a Vietnamese restaurant by their Pho but I do it with broken rice. Compared to the previous ownership and the nearby viet star restaurant the taste of the broken rice is a bit bland. A couple of suggestions if I may:
the soup was served cold, the room temperature soup makes it taste like leftover soup haha but the flavour of the soup was actually pretty good (which is nice as some places dont even give soup along with their rice dishes) The Nước Chấm balance of flavour needs a bit of improvement. All I could taste was the sourness. It needs more garlic, sugar and fish sauce. The grilled pork chop needs to be cooked a bit longer, some parts of the fat is still a bit chewy. This is especially important since this place seems to use a higher fat to lean meat ratio cut. The lack of marinade and Mỡ Hành also makes it less flavourful. The Chả trứng needs a tad bit more seasoning too.
Apart from that everything is perfect. The rice and egg was also cooked nicely. They just opened for a few days so it is expected for there to be improvements. But I can see the friendly people working and their enthusiasm. I wish them the best and hope this place could become a staple place to eat...
Read moreI’ve never left a negative review before, but my experience was so disappointing I feel I must share it.
After waiting 30 minutes for my stir-fry noodles and spring rolls, I had to inquire about its status. Only then were we informed that the kitchen had completely lost the order.
What was most frustrating was the complete lack of care from the wait staff.

I chose to cancel my order as my partner had finished eating. The manager did try to fix the situation by offering to pack the remaining order to go and deducting the missing noodles from our bill.
However, the final insult came when I got to my car and checked the takeaway bag—the spring rolls I had paid $14 for were missing! At that point, I was hungry, frustrated and unwilling to go back to further ruin my evening.
Even with an Eatclub discount, this was not worth the money. Difficult to justify their performance on...
