➖ Sydney Rock Oysters, Granita ⭐️ Roast Corn Comte Croquette ➖ Oreciette Prawns ✔️ Sourdough, Miso Butter Attria is a relaxed wine bar and restaurant located on Swan Street, Richmond. The menu is Modern Australian with some Mediterranean influence. We made a booking for dinner prior to a show at Rod Laver Arena. The great thing about dining early is that you can take advantage of Happy Hour Specials! They offer $10 wines and $15 cocktails 4-6pm Tuesday to Thursday, however this wasn’t mentioned to us until we asked about it. 👀 The Sydney Rock Oysters came with a granita which was too vinegar-y for me. The Orecchiette Prawn Pasta was very fishy, but had a nice, almost vodka pasta style sauce. Would’ve been great with some more spice! Our standout of the was the Croquettes and their Sourdough with Miso Butter was also crunchy and delicious. ⭐️ Although a bit hit and miss on this occasion for us, we would revisit to try some more dishes from the menu, which seems to change frequently. The venue gets pretty busy so you have some vibe! 🔥 Sundays you can get $2 Oysters and $15 Bloody Mary’s from 3.30pm. ⭐️ 3.3/5 💸 $$ Have you visited? Share your thoughts in the comments!👇🏽

A wine bar in Richmond located on the busy Swan Street with indoor and outdoor seating. Menu is small and most of the dishes are designed for sharing. Dined inside on a high table and had the following: - BBQ corn & pecorino di fossa croquette, truffle mayo; sweetness of the corn was subtle and complements the savoriness of the croquette, very tasty - Roast artichoke hummus, shimeji a la grecque, pine nut, focaccia; smooth, creamy and nutty, goes really well with the focaccia which was very soft with a nice crust - Seared kingfish, smoked mussels, kohlrabi; very fresh tasting with a depth of flavour, a little tangy and savory - Roast asado ribs, charred pear, scallions; beef was soft and tender with a decent amount of fat which was rich and flavoursome. Very tasty with the sweet caramelised sauce - Black forest, chocolate, cherry, hazelnut; dessert was ok, not too sweet with a sour cherry coulis Overall enjoyed the meal; all the savory dishes were flavourful and delicious and the service was great. Food did not take long to arrive.

The place is gorgeous! The service was great until paying. The food is so average, we paid 31$ for a special linguini prawn pasta, which would cost probably $5 if that. The prawns were 4 tiny FROZEN cutlets, can buy much better at Coles across the road. The pasta was broken up into 3 inch pieces linguini should be full length obviously the cook is not Italian. But the sauce was really good tho. So disappointing. Then we go to pay, the waitress asked how was everything, and i politically explained the disappointment, and then no comment, no discount and she asked for a tip? Are you serious? I know businesses are struggling but this joint needs a sense check on what they are serving up in food and customer service! Just makes me angry to pay $130+ for 2pax for this S.... Look at that photo.. the pasta is so short! Argh From a local there are much better places on Swan.

Attria is a true standout in Richmond — an elegant wine bar and restaurant that offers the perfect mix of sophistication, warmth, and exceptional food and wine. From the moment you step inside, the space feels inviting yet refined, with beautiful design touches and an atmosphere that immediately sets the tone for a memorable evening.

The wine list is outstanding. Thoughtfully curated and extensive, it showcases both local and international producers, with something to suit every palate. Whether you’re a casual wine drinker or a serious enthusiast, there’s a sense of discovery in the list, and the staff are more than happy to guide you toward the perfect choice. Their knowledge and enthusiasm really elevate the experience — you don’t just drink wine here, you’re introduced to it.

The food is equally impressive. The menu strikes a fine balance between creativity and comfort, with dishes that highlight quality ingredients and clever execution. Each plate is beautifully presented and designed to complement the wines, making the whole dining experience feel seamless. From small plates to larger mains, everything has a polished yet approachable feel, and the flavours are consistently fresh and memorable.

The service at Attria is excellent — attentive without being overbearing, knowledgeable without being pretentious, and always genuinely welcoming. The team manage to make the space feel both relaxed and special at the same time, which is no small feat.

The atmosphere is another highlight. Whether you’re here for an intimate dinner, drinks with friends, or a special celebration, the space feels versatile yet consistently stylish. It’s the kind of venue you want to linger in, sipping a glass of wine long after the meal is over.

Attria is everything a modern wine bar should be: refined yet accessible, serious about quality without losing warmth, and consistently delivering an experience that keeps you coming back. A true gem...
