I've always enjoyed this café for its great food and affordable drinks, but my recent visit was a disappointment. I ordered Barebones Scrambled Eggs, but the waiter brought me Babble Egg Benedict. When I tried to correct the order, the waiter insisted I ordered it (I haven't consumed pork for 22 years, making it highly unlikely that I would have ordered a dish with it). I did not remember the name of the dish, so I said I have ordered what the table next to me eating - she did not confirm with me, which dish, and just walked away looking unhappy, in result I got wrong ordered delivered again! Thankfully, the person who delivered the incorrect order the second time was more attentive and double-checked with me to ensure accuracy. To make matters worse, I did not get an apology for mixing my orders twice, but the initial waiter demanded payment for the second dish and claimed I had ordered it instead. SHOCKING. I did not end up paying for it but communication and service were lacking in this experience. Tip to the waiter- if you unsure double check or repeat the order after you take it, is...
Read moreUsed to love this place and come almost every Saturday while waiting for my child attends a dance class. I loved it for good price, quality food and friendly staff. But I didn’t enjoy today’s experience at all. I did some work while having food and coffee. When I ordered another coffee, I was told the maximum sitting hours is 1.5 hours and it’s nearly done (which had been only about an hour as I entered there right before 10 am). I didn’t know such things exist in this casual cafe. They only seem to care about money as I was sitting at a table myself. He truly ruined my Saturday morning mood. He asked what time I will leave and I said 20 minutes. I meant to leave after my second coffee but left earlier as I didn’t want to sit there another minute. Probably this is going to be my last coffee here when there are cafes in every second shop in this area. I don’t need cheap service on...

That’s probably the reason I chose to finally sit and eat at this place - after walking past numerous times and catching a glimpse of the fresh rustic interior with the fire place setting.
I sat on the elevated deck seating outside which was quite nice to be separated from the footpath while having some shade.
Service was attentive. There was a mistake with the drinks order but it was remedied. Food was served timely and portions were large, I could not finish my wrap. Prices are on the costly side but that is expected for the setting and location of the cafe.
This cafe is predominantly operating as a cafe and therefore close early, however, on a Saturday evening they are open late and it transforms into a bar! They do not serve food past a certain hour please note.
I would like to return next time to try the Ginger Latte - something I have never...
