Rockmans Apartments South Yarra — Hotel in Melbourne

This is a great place and area for your visit to Melbourne. The Prahran shopping centre is 650 metre walk. Don't drive there, otherwise you have to pay for the carpark. 15 minutes drive to ST Kilda beach, Luna park and Sunday market. The Tram station is just around the corner, so if you don't want to walk around or you don't hire a car, prepare your Myki card. You can also walk to the city through two big and beautiful parks, Fawkner park and Royal Botanical garden that are so beautiful. There are heaps of restaurants and bars around too. We could check in at 12pm which was great as I have two kids and were a bit tired and sleepy. There were fruits, snacks and drinks prepared.

The only problem was Internet/WiFi. It didn't work during our stay.

My husband (Sam) and I stayed at Rockmans from March-August 2019, while I received treatment at the Alfred. It was a convenient 5 minute walk to the hospital which helped alleviate a lot of stress. Robert was always accommodating and great to deal with. The only downside is the parking is often full, so we were hesitant to take our car anywhere in fear of not getting a parking spot when we returned.
