If you’re local or just passing through, here’s a bar where you can be yourself - meet interesting people (both staff and patrons) and enjoy a good drink in a great atmosphere. The people who work here make it magical, and you can spend a lot of time at the bar enjoying all the trinkets with the bottles on the wall. Read moreMy friend and I were eating sandwiches from 7/11 at the tram stop on the streetwalk in front of this establishment when the staff here told us we could not eat by the roadside, incorrectly citing new laws that banned smoking (not eating!) outside of restaurants in this area. The staff were extremely hostile and belligerent, and mocked us when we asked for clarification on their clearly ridiculous demands. There are some sloe moving coloured lights on stage (which is much nicer than the fast moving lights - so that didn't bring on any migraines or seizure like some other music venues!), which I appreciated.
