Bite Me - Grill & Burger Bar — Restaurant in Melbourne

After years of ordering food from this establishment, we have had a very unpleasant experience & have noticed declining service over the last year or so. It may be difficult to get good staff to answer the phone & take orders but that is no excuse for mucking up an order then not honouring the mistake. The person who answered the phone repeated my order after me so apparently understood it then asked twice if I wanted chips which I had already stated I did not, so I can only assume her memory is not perfect. They cooked one burger instead of the two I ordered & which she repeated, but refused to acknowledge the mistake & expected us to take home one cold burger whilst they cooked another. I think when I am ordering for my family of two, I would realize we need more than one burger. Totally disgusted with the attitude, the customer is certainly not always right...

Went in last night, and ordered a Chicken Fillet 'Bite Me' Pack - with chips and salad. What I got was not what I asked for. Firstly I received a Chicken Schnitzel that was fried, rather than a grilled fillet. If they had run out, I feel the cashier should have mentioned this. I did not receive any chips, instead I received a salad drowned in Balsamic Vinegar dressing. It was way too much, it soaked into the chicken and my mouth felt weird from the acidity afterwards. The olives and cucumber in the salad were also a bit soggy, and didn't taste fresh. When I checked my receipt, I did notice the cashier put through a 'no carbs' pack, so didn't charge me for chips, just simply got my order wrong.
