I recently had the pleasure of visiting Boost Juice and felt compelled to write a review about my outstanding experience, primarily due to the exceptional service provided by a remarkable employee named Ava.
From the moment I approached the counter, Ava greeted me with a warm and genuine smile. She exuded enthusiasm and promptly took my order, making me feel like a valued customer. With her infectious energy and positive attitude, Ava effortlessly created a delightful atmosphere within the store.
What impressed me the most was Ava's extensive knowledge about the entire Boost Juice menu. She patiently guided me through the various options, detailing each drink's ingredients, flavours, and nutritional benefits. I felt confident in her recommendations as she effortlessly personalised my order based on my preferences and dietary restrictions.
Ava not only delivered excellent customer service but also showcased a genuine passion for the products she was serving. Her passion was evident in every step of the process, from carefully selecting the freshest fruits to expertly blending them into a vibrant and refreshing concoction. I could tell that she took great pride in her work and genuinely cared about creating a memorable experience for every customer.
Furthermore, Ava's friendly and personable demeanour or made me feel comfortable to engage in a conversation while patiently waiting for my drink. She shared her knowledge about the health benefits of certain ingredients and enthusiastically answered my questions, engaging in genuine conversation that went beyond just taking and fulfilling an order.
Throughout my visit, Ava's attention to detail and commitment to excellence never wavered. She meticulously checked the accuracy of my order to ensure that it met my expectations. Her genuine care for both the product and the customer truly set her apart.

As an autistic person with specific dietary requirements, and major allergies I always found it to be a reliable and easy place to go. I think you should know. I never keep the line, I only ask questions, When the line is clear. I’d be great with the other workers. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case.
In my last several visits, I've experienced what feels like targeted, passive-aggressive behaviour from the store manager, Cass. I will approach the counter, and I've repeatedly watched her lean over to whisper to the employee serving, which is immediately followed by eye-rolls or audible sighs from the staff member. This has happened more than once. It's a consistent pattern of behaviour that has made me feel singled out and deeply unwelcome. I have done nothing to warrant this. I remember just asking questions, I have never been treated so incredibly hostile, It’s truly hectic. I would always forget and try to forgive. It actually started depressing me
Her management style also seems to be creating a very stressful environment for the staff. On one occasion during a busy period, I witnessed a young employee who was clearly overwhelmed. Instead of offering support, I heard the manager tell her something like, "you've already got the apron on, you do it." The employee's forced smile was visible to everyone. It's difficult to watch staff being treated that way.
As a disability support worker, I am very aware of what a respectful and professional environment should look like. This isn't it. The manager at this store is fostering a culture that is unwelcoming to customers and appears to be toxic for employees. This is a direct contradiction of the positive brand image Boost Juice aims to project.

Read moreAfter working in food service for years I have a lot of sympathy for those in the industry when it gets busy. I am always patient and try really hard to be the kind of customer I would have liked to serve. No one has ever made me mad enough to complain, except for the girl behind the counter who "served" me today. Though there was no one in the store the girl seemed quite busy with delivery orders so I decided to wait patiently at the counter until she had a moment. After waiting for 20 minutes and having not been served I asked if I could place my order so that I could come back later to pick it up. She told me she would not take my order and that I had to use the automated kiosk. I told her I would like her to take the order so I could make modifications (I have a severe allergy to a common ingredient in their smoothie bases) and she turned her back on me and refused to take my order. During all this she also berated a poor Uber driver who had the nerve to ask her very nicely if the drink he had been waiting 15 minutes for was ready yet. She told him to go away and leave her alone, it would be ready when it was ready. She seemed to recover her good manners for the two attractive young men who came in to pick up their orders however, she apologised profusely to them for the wait.
