Cafe Park Lane — Restaurant in Melbourne

It was around 6.30 PM where we went there and the cafe was about to close in 30-45 minutes. We were around South Melbourne and really keen to grab a quick coffee. Opened Zomato and found this Park Lane Cafe with great rating.

It's little cafe tucked in Clarendon st, South Melbourne (hidden gem) Blink Blink Arrived in the cafe and saw group of people hang out together and didn't see the barista / customer staff / owner. Actually the barista was having a warm and friendly conversation with the regular customers, very humble.

We were welcomed by him and he was very nice, friendly and warm. We loved the table set and interior design of this cafe, it was pretty cool and quirky. The vibe and atmosphere was very comfortable and cosy.

Owww!! If you love playing board game, there is a antique book shelf containing few board games, books. Initially, we wanted to grab coffee but we couldn't because he had already cleaned up the machine.

He apologised and explained to us why he closed the coffee order earlier as today he was short of staffs and we totally understood about it. Anyway, we ordered "Rice Milk Turmeric Latte" for $4.50 instead. Turmeric latte, are you serious? Yeah, I know we've never tried this before and it was the first time.

He made a really great turmeric latte; The taste was pretty smooth, balance between ginger and turmeric. We enjoyed every sip of this turmeric latte up to the last drop. Actually, it was a healthy drink and had increadible anti-inflammatory.

Anyway, it was recommended! Great taste and you felt warm inside afterwards. Despite having a short visit, we will definitely come back next time in the morning to try their Reuben sandwich as rumours said that their Reuben sandwich was really good and must to try.

Such a cozy hidden gem with the kindest service ever! I’ve been looking for the perfect place to have some toasties & this is the place! they have a whole cabinet with many different types of delicious toasties that are bought to you with a smile while being nice hot cheesy & flavourful, the portion sizes are great same with they’re coffee/tea sizes much better than other places, they also have some cute tasty looking desserts & sweet treats that you have to try! specially the cute little ginger bread...

Possibly one of Melbourne's best kept laneway secrets. lt feels like small corner of Kreuzberg slipped through a portal and ended up in south Melbourne. We have been coming here for close to a year now and every day the lattes made here are exceptional. Today I tried a breakfast croissant and I seriously can't tell you how delicious it was.
