Dined here due to our booking at another restaurant being cancelled on arrival, this place being the only venue with availability nearby. Very disappointing dinner. Entrees of scallops and vegetable soup OK, certainly not outstanding. Main courses, one crispy barramundi, the other crispy rockling, both turned out so be small bits of unidentifiable fish in batter, that was not crispy, with accompanying sauce and a few vegetable shreds. From the moment the food hit the table, I was transported. The flavours were fresh, bold, and beautifully balanced. The Fresh Scallops Chili Lime were a knockoutāzesty, spicy, and full of punch. We also had their signature Clay Pot Pork with Black Pepperārich, tender, and absolutely unforgettable.
The crispy spring rolls? Golden perfection.
You can tell the dishes are made with heart. Cosy space, welcoming staff, and every bite had us planning our return.
It came recommendedāand now Iām doing the same. Canāt wait to come back and work through the rest of the menu! š

We had scallops in chili lime (3 for $15) and they were beautifully plump and juicy, with a tangy, mouth-watering sauce; the saigon crispy prawns (2 for $10) are a slice of heaven and we could have eaten those all night. The main we chose was the chili lemongrass rockling fish (smallish bowl for $30); this dish was a little disappointing as there were more mushrooms than fish and the fish was tough; the coconut rice we chose to accompany the main, I'm guessing from the bill, was a large serve at $7. A Pewsey Vale, Eden Valley Reisling ($38) was a superb pairing...
