I tried this Cantonese restaurant for the first time as I saw their nice-looking roasted duck through the window. However, their roasted duck didn’t come with pancakes and shredded cucumbers, and they sell 4 pieces of pancakes for over $8. Therefore, I had half roasted duck takeaway and made my own Peking duck set. The roasted duck was cooked beautifully. The duck meat was juicy and tender, with a thin layer of fat underneath the perfectly roasted duck skin. It was salty and sweet, with a hint of honey, I was obsessed with its flavours! Although the restaurant was a bit outdated, it provides authentic flavours and good quality food. Their service was quick and efficient as well.

come here when you are feeling bit homesick and dont want to travel to far if you are studying at monash. Its like a 5 minute walk from the station and for its price and quality was really good better than alot of the expensive ones in the city I ordered a mix of cha siu and roast duck and just look at how much they gave, the sauces as well was all on point. Definitely give this a try if you want to try cantonese roast and barbecue meats in clayton

Great food here. We ordered the egg noodles with 2 roasts(bbq pork and roast pork). The noodles were quite generous and the soup was just the right flavour. Love their roast pork as the skin is so crispy and the meat is tender. The bbq pork was okay, had a herbal aftertaste. If you're looking for congee, their shredded pork and century egg is amazing. Well made.

Haven’t been here for a few months but came for dinner last night. Same dingy lighting, same lack of air conditioning, same walls posted full of specials and banquet menu options... but not the same value for money. With the new prices, I would rather opt for Chinese food in Glen Waverley and Springvale.

Ordered a banquet for 5-6 with an additional dish (eggplant with mince claypot). Dishes were average or worse. ie BBQ pork was both dry and fatty at the same time (how?); Diced beef with vegetables... they managed to condense all of the sinew in a whole animal into 7 cubes of beef to serve alongside 4 pieces of almost raw broccoli; XO sauce seafood fried rice was actually chilli oil fried rice with one shrimp and a couple of pieces of diced calamari; Eggplant with mince claypot only had eggplant... no mince. Such a hidden gem in Clayton. If you know what to order, you’ll be satisfied. We ordered the 3 ways of roast on rice, which was incredible. Fresh Cantonese roast meat on top of flavoured rice with some greenery and sauce next to it, very well priced with this quantity at just 20$??? Where else could you get this? The Fujian Fried Rice was fantastic. The pinnacle of Chinese comfort food, absolutely recommend this. We also ordered an Egg-Beef Vermicelli (can’t remember the exact name) but this was absolutely insane too. Don’t get turned off by the exterior, it’s just a classic Cantonese style design. Food matters...
