Exceptional bowl of pho; just as good as their Springvale store. Clayton’s just a bit more roomier which is great and is just more accommodating for prams and children.

The bowl of pho itself is always consistent and tasty. The broth is clear and very flavourful. There are three sizes to choose from, small, medium and large. The servings themselves are massive even for a small. I always opt for a small or medium depending on how hungry I am.

I thoroughly enjoy getting the rare beef, beef brisket and tendon pho and asking for extra beef balls. Honestly all the options they have are just great regardless of what you get.

With each serving of pho the staff always bring out a plate of fresh bean shoots, fresh chilli, basil and lemon to accompany your pho. On the table there is always hoisin, fish sauce, chilli oil, sriracha and pepper to customise your broth as you see fit.

Both Pho Hung Vuong Springvale and Clayton can get busy so do expect to sometimes line up outside. But it’s always worth it. Also keep in mind both stores are cash only. But overall will always come back and will recommend this...

So rare to find a place CASH ONLY these days. The owner was rude to tell me HAVE to get cash. Didn’t have physical bank card with me so couldn’t get cash out from ATM. He was saying like doing me a big favor to let me pay by bank transfer as first time visitor. He was actually so RUDE. PLEASE REMBER TO BRING CASH OTHERWISE THE OWNER WILL BE SO UNHAPPY WITH YOU.

Just because we can reply to the owner We never said it’s illegal to Cash Only but I guess we are not the first customer to complain about it from the other reviews. We’re not from local and it’s your responsibility to put the sign big enough so everyone see it. Also, the main point we are writing the review here, is because the owner’s attitude :) we never expected the customer service would be...

I got the medium rare beef and brisket for $16.

It’s pretty decent. The soup is on the milder side, so it’s really light and you can drink a lot of it. Personally, I’d prefer something heavier, but this is still pretty good. The beef was good. It’s thin, has a nice pink colour, but doesn’t have a strong beefy taste. Noodles are well cooked, pairs really well with the entire dish. I also liked that the vegetables they gave were not an outrageously large portion. You can easily finish the vegetables they gave you, and the bean sprouts were really good actually. It’s not as bitter as the ones I often have.

Overall it’s pretty good. I also like that the pricing is based on size of the dish rather than what type it is. Service...

Legit one of the best pho in Clayton. Soup so refreshing I think I will order large next time 🤣 I wish I have pictures but I'm so hungry that i finished the whole bowl. Now with the broken rice combo, i wish they add those shredded pork and also the fried meatloaf on it but they only have pork chop and fried egg. Hence I took one star out. I hope the owner will add those shredded pork and fried meat loaf on the rice combo as I love love love broken rice with pork chop combo. Update 3rd July 2023 Still the best pho I ever have in Melbourne, their broth complexity is just unforgettable and addictive. They no longer offer the mini spring rolls on their menu 😭😭
