I recently dined at Correto Pizza Ristorante and was thoroughly impressed by the experience. The smoked salmon pizza was a highlight, featuring an authentic crispy crust that was perfectly cooked—crisp on the outside without being wet in the middle. The Salmon was part cooked and the smoked salmon was layered at the end of cooking with fresh basil leaves. This level of attention to detail in the cooking was truly commendable.
The staff at Correto Pizza Ristorante added to the exceptional dining experience. The Brazilian waitress was extremely attentive, ensuring that every need was met with a friendly demeanor. Additionally, having the owner on-site, personally quality checking the dishes, demonstrated a commitment to maintaining high standards.
The only minor point of improvement would be the serving of cognac. While the cognac itself was excellent, it was served in a port glass rather than a traditional cognac glass. A proper cognac glass would enhance the experience and flavor considering the price and profile of the drink.
Overall, Correto Pizza Ristorante delivers an excellent dining experience with delicious food and outstanding service. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic pizza and a welcoming...
Read moreIf you like red ferrari's, well this place is for you...it's decked head to toe in red ferrari merchandise. Overall food was good, prices not bad. Staff member was helpful. Small issues spoiled the experience a bit though...I saw a grilled chicken salad next to the Caesar salad. So I asked if I could have a chicken Caesar salad and happy to pay extra, but was told this happens a lot, and that the chefs 'wont put chicken on a Caesar salad, as they don't feel it's right'.
Y'know as nice as they chefs I'm sure are, I don't really care what the chef thinks, I didn't ask for dog poo in my coffee, and if it happens a lot change the flipping menu. Shouldn't be hard to accommodate the person called the customer... anyway not a drama but just thought that stank a little.
Sadly the other negative was the seats are jammed in so tight it was pretty uncomfortable as the people sitting next to us could have been on my lap they were that close. Lygon street is a busy place so unless you want to get extremely intimate and told what you should eat, head somewhere else where the customer is...
Read moreI had the pleasure of dining at this fantastic Italian restaurant in Melbourne and it was nothing short of outstanding. Every element from the food to the service was thoughtfully executed and full of flavour.I ordered the garlic Pizza and it was absolutely delicious. The balance of garlic, herbs, and perfectly cooked pizza made it a standout starter. For my main, I had the seafood marinara, which was incredibly fresh and full of generous portions of prawns, scollop and calamari, all brought together in a rich, well-seasoned tomato sauce over pasta. It tasted like something straight from the Amalfi Coast. To drink, I tried the Ferrari mocktail and it was a refreshing surprise vibrant, fruity and beautifully presented. The staff were warm, welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu. You can tell they take pride in both the food and the overall experience they offer. The ambiance was perfect for a relaxed evening out, with a cozy interior and a touch of modern flair. Highly recommend this place to anyone craving authentic Italian cuisine in Melbourne. I’ll definitely be coming...
