Read moreMy experience left a really sour taste in my mouth. 11 of of us attended last night after researching for great Korean places. We used their website and their menu to finally decide. We attended on a Sunday night and we're met with a sign stating that there would be an 8.5% surcharge, atop a 1.5% surcharge for card payments. Whilst frustrating, we accepted this and sat down. First thing we noticed was the very different prices than advertised on their website. I already planned to order the Wagyu bulgogi sizzling plate which is currently advertised as $25 on their site. It was actually $32. When it arrived, I could not have been more disappointed. I would guess that maybe 100g of beef, which is a generous guess, was hidden amongst the mound of sprouts and onions. It was watered down and rather tasteless. I accepted this and moved on. When we received our bill, we were shocked to find a service fee of 15% added. My family were simply going to pay but I queried the charge with the staff. The one I asked looked sheepish and apologised. I can't know for certain that it wasn't just a simple mistake but it appeared that they were knowingly attempting to make more from us. While the fried chicken was delicious, and my family were happy with their meals, I will not be returning. Dishonesty is not something I...
Read moreTo kickstart our meal, we delighted in the comforting and flavorful 🥘Kimchi Jjigae Stew, which provided a perfect balance of spice and tanginess. The cheesy and indulgent Corn 🌽Cheese complemented the stew, offering a delightful contrast of flavours and textures.
No visit to KBBQ is complete without trying their must-order K-Fried🍗 Chicken. We savoured the original variation, with its crispy and golden-brown exterior giving way to tender and succulent meat. We also couldn't resist experiencing the Honey Mustard K-Fried Chicken, which added a delightful sweet and tangy twist to the classic dish.
Moving on to the barbecue, we began with the Pork Samgyupsal, enjoying the sizzle and aroma as it cooked to perfection. The Wagyu Salchi followed, offering a sumptuous 200g cut of melt-in-your-mouth Wagyu beef. The quality and marbling of the Wagyu is top notch. Finally, we tried the Wagyu Galbi M9, marinated with care.. the result? Tender and flavourful meat!
