A Hidden Gem for Pizza and Pasta Lovers! I’ve been coming to Mordi Pizza & Pasta for a while now, and it never disappoints! Whether you’re craving a delicious pizza, hearty pasta, or simply looking for a cozy spot to grab a bite, this place hits all the right notes.

First Impressions: From the moment you step in, you’re greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor is charming, with just the right blend of rustic and modern. It’s perfect whether you're dining solo, with family, or meeting up with friends. The staff are incredibly friendly and make you feel right at home, which is always a plus.

The Menu: The variety on the menu is impressive. Mordi offers a wide selection of pizzas, each with perfectly balanced toppings, and their crust is to die for – crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. You can tell they use fresh, high-quality ingredients. The Margherita pizza is a classic done right, while their gourmet options like the BBQ Chicken or Veggitarian are loaded with flavor.

They have a fully stocked bar if you fancy a nice red with your meal and they also cater for the BYO lovers.

If you’re more of a pasta lover, you’re in for a treat. Their pasta dishes are equally delicious, with options ranging from delicious mushroom pasta to a rich and flavorful Bolognese. Each dish is cooked to perfection and portions are generous, leaving you satisfied but not overly stuffed.

Standout Dishes: • Pizza: Johnny’s Special pizza is a must-try! It’s an absolute flavor bomb. • Pasta: Their Meatballs spaghetti is hands down one of the best I’ve had. The sauce is creamy without being too heavy, and the home made meatballs add a perfect bite to this dish. • And the Desserts, Oh My God, you can not not have a dessert here, Aurora: After Dinner Mint, is just over the top flavour packed ice cream after dinner mint ice-cream.

Service: The service here is outstanding. The staff are attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and always willing to make recommendations if you can’t decide. What I particularly love is how quickly the food comes out – you don’t have to wait long, but you can tell the dishes are freshly made.

Pricing: For the quality and portions, Mardi Pizza & Pasta is priced very reasonably. You get excellent value for money, which makes it easy to become a regular customer (like me!). Went to this place for a family meal after recently visiting the beach. Wait staff were friendly, food was decent -except my sons pizza made him feel ill upon eating- we waited over an hour to be fed after placing an order though. between us we ordered a Medium and small pizza, a chicken schnitzel and a garlic bread. Pizzas were adequate, schnitzel was greasy but we'll cooked, garlic bread was standard. We hadn't finished eating before the owner came and turned the TV in the eating area off, we were given a rude look from the owner as if we were meant to have left already -it was 8.30pm at this point, we had been served food just 15 minutes prior to this at 8.15, and expected to "wolf" it down. I checked the opening times and it clearly stated the restaurant was open until 11pm on Saturday, and that dining finished 1 hour before that (at 10pm) after finishing our meal We were rudely told by the owner upon leaving that "there is no charge for water" but he then proceeded to overcharge on everything else, whilst stating "you order takeaway it's cheaper" there was no where on the menu or the walls that said there would be a difference in charges. He also charged us a "corkage fee" on the "free" karafe of water, and proceeded to add between $4 and $5 dollars to each item on our bill. Our total should have been $40. With a little more greed than flair he produced a bill for $53 dollars. I queried the bill and got the same answer as above, "takeaway is cheaper" I said I hadn't been able to find a difference on the menu in prices for eating in house.
