This wine bar is incredibly cozy, and even if you're not a wine drinker, the food is just as delicious.
The service is attentive and friendly. The wait times between meals might be slightly longer than average, but the food we ordered was really good. It's wonderful that the staff was aware of the time we spent waiting for our food, and they handled it gracefully by offering us a complimentary wine 🍷
From the fresh oysters for the entree to the surprisingly amazing salami, and the delightful truffle salsa on a potato base, everything tasted great.
The highlight of the night was the mouthwatering ravioli with a soft texture and a delectable pumpkin filling complemented by burnt butter. We were tempted to order a second serving! 😍
The chicken dish with chimichurri dressing was also delicious and juicy, and the duck Ragu pasta was nice too.
Fun fact: they source their ingredients within Victoria, which is really cool.
We booked this within TheFork program, and scored a 50% discount on the food, which made the experience...
Read moreShowcasing Victoria’s finest fresh produce and wine. Their wine list is extensive and carefully curated to highlight the local producers. We tried the Sangiovese and Tempranillo and they completed the mains really well.
The decor inside is sleek and classy with a neon logo “Edwin” at the front. Love how the setting is cosy and is located in an amazing location in Southbank.
We got to try their amazing menu and started off with the eclairs, trout tartare, lamb cutlets. The trout tartare was an absolute favourite as it was a generous portion and i absolutely loved the acidity and balanced in the flavours which kept the dish fresh. The lamb cutlets were nicely marinated and the texture of the meats was tender and nice.
For mains we went with the lamb saddle and the Hagens Organic Beef and they were both absolutely amazing. The lamb was cooked really well and it was so soft. The celery and soubise complemented the dish really well. The beef on the other hand was cooked to perfection and the edamame beans was a brilliant addition to the dish.
We finished off with the creme brulee and chocolate mousse and malt which balances the flavour really well. The staff here was so attentive and friendly and they had an in depth knowledge of the menu and the background of their fresh produce.
Will definitely be back again...

TheFork Festival provided a nice opportunity to try out this place at a reduced expense. Toast and tomato butter was a great start to the meal. The oysters were excellent, other starters were not that special. The mains of cod and steak were perfectly cooked, but the burger was quite average (both bun and fillings). To round off the night, the rich dark choc tart with vanilla gelato was a classic.
