live just above the coffee shop. Yesterday morning, I went down to order a takeaway coffee and something to eat. But the staff seemed more focused on chatting behind the counter, and unfortunately, I was really in a rush. So I told the barista that I was sorry, that I didn’t have time, but that I’d come back the next day to pick up the coffee (since I had already paid $8). I also told him not to forget, and he could clearly see from my attitude that I was under a lot of pressure and stressed.
This morning, I went back to explain myself at the counter, but the server deliberately pretended not to recognize me (even though it’s a café that’s usually empty). He even said, “Did you take the ticket or did you just run off?”—mocking me. That’s when I realized he was doing it on purpose.
I honestly think that’s such an over-the-top reaction for a simple coffee. He could have just given me a gentle reminder, saying that I should have left a note or that it’s not part of their procedure—which I would have totally understood. But instead, lying and making fun of me, even though he saw how stressed I was yesterday, felt unnecessarily cold and hostile, as if I had done something terrible.
In the end, he basically just stole my money. Again, we’re talking about a coffee—it’s not that deep. Sometimes people just need to show a little empathy. I had to go pay for another coffee somewhere else. Which, honestly, wasn’t a bad thing in the end—the last matcha I got from them wasn’t even homemade, unlike the coffee shop...

The coffee? Absolutely amazing. Whether you’re a flat white fanatic or prefer a more adventurous brew, they nail it every single time. The rich, perfectly balanced flavors are a testament to the baristas’ skill and passion for their craft.
But what truly sets this café apart is its fantastic range of food options. Whether you’re after a hearty breakfast, a light lunch, or a sweet treat to accompany your coffee, their menu has something for everyone. Everything is fresh, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor.

Read moreThat was genuinely the worst customer experience of my entire life, we ordered a coffee each and waited 15 minutes (which is fine) for them to make the wrong coffees, we politely told him and the guy had the biggest hissy fit of his life and threw the coffee across the room into the bin. Then ignored us for 10 minutes until we finally asked the other man what was happening. To conclude he said he didn’t have time to re make the coffees and threw our money back at us. I have never been so confused and angry, literally terrible experience hope they step in a puddle wearing socks. Anyways we took our cash to tribu cafe and they make an unreal coffee.
Unfortunately I can’t reply to your reply so I needed to edit this so I could reply. We were the only ones there ordering takeaway coffee at the time and had your staff told us we couldn’t change the milk in the “specialty coffee” we would have just left happily, it’s not our fault that customers came in after us (maybe 7 people) and if that’s considered a rush I’m deeply concerned. I think all of this could have been avoided with some simple communication instead of aggression on your behalf, as for being “unruly”, I wouldn’t want to be a customer for you to control. To conclude; hey siri play man child by...
