ORDERED: šŸ”ā€Š Greed: Fried chicken dipped in Carolina Reaper sauce, American slaw, purity mayo, in a charcoal infused bun ($17.00) šŸ§…ā€Š Onion Rings: Tossed in Burgatory's secret seasoning ($7.00) REVIEW: Crazy spicy!! Be careful with the Greed. I was actually too greedy, and couldn't handle the heat. 😭 I finished most of my burger but couldn't finish all of the chicken that was peeking from bun's confines. This is from someone who likes a bit of heat as well. The chicken was texturally fried so well but I couldn't appreciate the taste because I was getting lightheaded, hands were starting to tremor, and tongue swollen from the heat. It's the kind of spice that lingers and build, BUT I should've been more wary of the carolina reaper sauce! Next time I'm going to get a normal fried chicken. from Burgertory. No spice here thanks.ā€ŠšŸ¤£ Nonetheless, I would've appreciated more of a creamy sauce in the salad to balance it out a bit more. Enjoyed the onion rings to kill the spice. Crunchy, and with whole onion pieces, it's great if you appreciate a good onion ring. They're sprinkled with delicious flavour (their secret spice), so you could get buy without additional sauce if you don't mind the savouriness. The service was friendly. The cashier did warn me it was spicy so I was mentally prepared. But my body wasn't. Although they have a dine in area they don't seem to have water for self serve that's in an obvious spot. They do have a tap to wash your hands though! There's no obvious bin as well, so you kind of have to awkwardly hand it back to the kitchen... who are using the same gloves to prep other people's foods. Unsure if that's normal. šŸ˜…

A Divine Burger Experience at Burgertory! If you’re looking for a burger that’s not just a meal but an experience, Burgertory is the place to be. My wife and I decided to indulge, and we couldn’t have made better choices. I went with the Abraham, and wow—this burger was a revelation. The combination of flavors was absolutely perfect, from the juicy patty to the rich, smoky sauces and fresh toppings. Every bite was packed with bold, mouthwatering goodness, making it easily one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. My wife chose Lust, and it lived up to its name—it was pure indulgence. The layers of flavor were sinful in the best way possible, with an irresistible balance of savory and rich textures that made every bite unforgettable. We also got Jonah’s Chicken Fries, and they were next-level. Crispy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned, they were the ideal side to complement our burgers. Beyond the food, the service was great, and the atmosphere added to the overall experience. Whether you’re a burger enthusiast or just someone who appreciates top-tier comfort food, Burgertory is an absolute must-visit. We’ll definitely be back for more!

Got the fried chicken burger with the red beetroot bun (a.k.a. the "Abraham") with a side of chips, and have to say I got disappointed. This joint sells pricey burger IMO. The burger was $16 and the chips were $5, so I paid $21 in total. The burger was hugeeee, but huge does not translate to quality. The fried chicken was lack of seasoning and cold. It almost seemed like they fried it a while ago and let it dry out. The sauce tasted like Big Mac sauce - not better and not worse. The bun was also dry. The chips were alright, but they weren't fresh out of the fryer either. With that said, I think they can do better portioning. They can charge less and serve a smaller size burger with a better - more punchy - taste. Normally you wouldn't share bites your burger with others, so there's no point of selling such a large burger. I would be happier to get burgers from the neighbouring Maccas :)

I would give zero stars if I could. My partner and I ordered a couple of nights ago and found the usual crispy and delicious hot wings to be soggy and gross. Prior to ordering again tonight (uber eats) we called to see if they had changed the hot wing recipe to decide wether to reorder or not (haven't had issues with the wings besides that one time, but had also been a while since we had ordered burgetory). We were told that no, the chicken wing recipe is still the same and it would've been a fault on their end for our disappointing wings the previous time. No worries, mistakes happen. We were reassured that the wings would be crispy and delicious this time round like we are used to. Well... our order arrives ( I paid $130 by the way for all of this), my meetball mac is missing (literally the best part of the order), the wings are still soggy and gross and the chicken tasted old (had to throw them out because they were literally inedible), the chicken in the Abraham burger was SO DRY that our dog wouldn't even eat it, not to mention we did not receive the Abraham burger as the ingredients on the burger we got (besides the chicken) were completely different AND THEN as I am eating my burger, the basic Joel burger, I find a hair in it.

We called the store immediately after realising we were missing the meetball mac and after ubereats denied us a refund for it, the rest of the issues we discovered after. The team member that initially answered the phone (also the same team member we spoke to regarding the hot wings prior to ordering) was incredibly unhelpful and unprofessional and upon requesting to speak to a manager multiple times, she continued to tell us to just contact ubereats (which we had already done at this point). The manager eventually took the phone call and was of equal help.

Incredibly frustrated and disappointed. We used to LOVE burgetory and consider it one of our favourite places to eat. We will ABSOLUTELY NOT be ordering from this company EVER again.

I hope someone is in touch with me ASAP, as this is a health and safety situation now ESPECIALLY after finding a hair in my burger and throwing out everything with meat as we did not want to take the risk of jeopardising our health for some over priced food. (Again, I spent $130 on this pile of compost that I wouldn't even feed...

We dined at Burgertory Southbank for the first time and unfortunately left feeling very disappointed. We arrived as a party of six at 8pm, having called ahead to confirm availability on New Year's Day. We were informed that the restaurant closed at 1am.

Upon being seated, the server showed us to our table but didn’t offer any kind of greeting or information. After approaching the counter to collect menus, the server asked if we were ready to order. When I explained that we hadn’t had a chance to look at the menu yet, she rudely turned away and, muttered to her colleague, "I'm loving customers today," while rolling her eyes.

Once we placed our order, we had to ask twice for a copy of the receipt, as we were unaware of a 10% credit card fee. While we understood the 10% public holiday surcharge, the additional credit card fee felt excessive. Our bill for two people, which included one burger combo, a single burger, and two sides, came to over $70. When our meals arrived, the burgers were barely warm, and the food was unceremoniously dropped onto the table with no explanation of which burger was which.

We also ordered tomato ketchup and spicy sauce but were given two portions of spicy sauce instead. Our friends had to ask twice for ketchup for their children.

To add to the disappointment, we were informed that there were no toilet facilities available in the restaurant. When we inquired about where to go, we were told to head over to Crown, which was inconvenient, as it's a 7+ minute walk, especially considering we were already dining at a restaurant that should have had these basic amenities.

While we understand that it was a public holiday, the overall experience was marred by the rude behavior of the server, which continued throughout our visit. We did not deserve to be treated in such an inhospitable manner. We were polite, the kids were well-behaved, and there was no reason for the poor service we received. This visit left us very disheartened, and we won't be...

Do not come here. I'm used to the Coburg North Burgertory which is really clean, nice and functional. This place is filthy. We sat down and had to order three times using the QR codes because we kept losing the order (five ppl btw). Third time it refused to let me pay because i had to "enter a table number", even though there are no marked table numbers and i got to the menu by scanning a QR.

Anyway, the lady at the counter advised that the orders from the app are often lost so we should order manually anyway. I dictated my order from the app, but because the cart doesn't show the bundled sides they were missed. This meant the food came out with chips and drinks missing. I then had to go up and make multiple individual orders. Extremely frustrated at this point obviously, we even had to pay more because the burger was ordered without the sides, so we were actually penalized for this inconvenience.

I feel bad for having to this woman to have to deal with this useless system. I asked her why they have the QR codes on the table and she just shrugged. I guess they just like screwing people around.

I've never had a bad experience at Coburg North Burgertory. I now understand why people complain about this place. How could you make ordering a burger so bad?

Can't really comment fairly on the food after such a frustrating experience. The burger seemed a lot worse but it's probably biased now.

Oh and also this absolutely heinous alarm keeps going off every do often in the kitchen (loud enough to interrupt conversation in the restaurant).

And the couch we're sitting on is disgusting. All the rubbery lining is flaking off and it's all sticky.

In summary: there is some sort of extreme problem here. I can only assume nobody with the power to make decisions about how this restaurant works has ever set...
