We had booked the Bella Apartments Southbank for its convenience to Crown Our booking included a secure car parking spot within the car park of Bella Apartments Upon our Arrival we were told by the Desk staff that their car park was full and we were instructed to go to Crown Car parking We were given very poor directions from your staff to this car park which created a lot of unnecessary anxiety and tension amongst our group Not knowing Melbourne very well, it is hard to expect us to find our way to Crown Car park??!!! NOT HAPPY to also find our Parking was going to be an added expense of $20.00 which was suppose to be FREE at Bella Apartments!!!!! And then also having to DRAG all our Luggage back to Bella Apartments!!! From Crown Car Park, in Rainy Weather Conditions!!! BUT however it gets worse!!!
Finally arriving back to Bella Apartments only to be told our Room was actually, NOT READY for us!!! We were instructed to leave our Luggage in a room that is located just off to the side of reception We asked if they should have our names attached to them for security The Staff responded by saying "We didnt have any luggage tags, and that we didnt need them??
However on our return to Bella Apartments from shopping, asking the staff for our luggage and if our room was ready now The Staff Member opened up the door, pointing for us to go into the room and find our own bags If we were dishonest people we could have taken all these other bags that were in the room, that werent actually ours!!!! None of the other Bags had Tags on them !! It gets worse, one of our ladies bags, couldnt be located within this room Luckily for us it however had been found in another room??? My Question is " shouldn't it have been in the room it was left in, in the first place?? So who moved the Luggage to a different room ??

Stayed from the 24th Nov 2018 to 26th Nov 2018 Two bedroom apartment on the 6th floor. Room number 601.
We came in to the room after having dinner outside. Only "1 lift" was working for the entire building - 30 floors. My retired parents had a very difficult time using the lifts and they even used stairs to come down with their luggage once, because the lifts were always full.
My husband came in to the room with his shoulder bag. All 3 of us who stayed in the room who saw him coming with the bag. Next day he decided to leave the bag in the room and left with his wallet and mobile in hand. All of us were out during the day.
When we came back, No room service was done. And there was no 'do not disturb' tag on the room. However the small bag was gone!! We thought may be it is still somewhere in the room so we searched for it after dinner. Never found.
Check out day - Next day we reported it to the lady at the reception. She went to a room next to the reception and handed over the bag saying "Some one who is not a guest handed it over 2 days ago"... 2 days ago?? We came in to the room late at night 2 days ago, and we had the bag with us that day..
Then my husband checked the bag.. His sun glasses and the perfume was missing. I reported it to the lady again. She just didnt seem to care. We were about to checkout and leave to our next leg of the holiday and we couldn't get any more delayed. So we left it at that and left the horrendous accomodation. I have stayed in hostels to grand hotels and never have i lost anything in the room nor never heard of anything as such.

Firstly, despite putting the sign to request our room to be cleaned out prior to the advertised cut-off time, we came home to an uncleaned room. This wasn't a huge issue as we aren't slobs but one of the reasons you stay in a hotel is to have a freshly made bed; pretty disappointing.
Additionally, the air-conditioning in the room leaves a lot to be desired. One, wall unit to cool an entire apartment is insufficient and considering the hotel is on a main road you can't really open the door for air flow due to the exhaust fumes and traffic noise. Thankfully, it wasn't super hot during our stay otherwise we would have been very uncomfortable in this hotel.
Some other notable mentions include the fact that there are only two elevators for thirty something floors. We were only here for four days, but man was it difficult and slow to get up and down for the majority of the time. The trash piles beside the elevators also get a notable mention; not exactly pleasant smelling wafts of trash whenever you are in the corridors. On one of our mornings a guest was playing thumping music which woke us up and kept us awake early in the morning too and, despite receiving no housekeeping, on our first day there a cleaner busted in on us without knocking (good thing we were decent).
Guest comfort and cleanliness are the major components that makes you enjoy your stay in a hotel and considering there were absolutely no other inclusions with our stay, we don't feel as though the services and room rendered was particularly worth the money we paid. We will never...
