very bad customer service experience. the staff was yelling at me, even worse, they encouraged other waiting customers to complain about me.
i placed an order this morning, and came back to this shop for my receipt. they were busy and the girl staff told me later she would deliver the receipt to my shop (80 meters away from their shop).
I waited in my shop for more than 3 hours, no receipt arrived. I went back to their shop again, only found out that that girl already off work.
i told another girl i came for my receipt, i also told her how much i spent, exact to cent, and what i ordered , 6 cups in every detail.
with every details, she just simply CANNOT dig out my order and print again the receipt. she tried to make a new receipt for me, but she simply CANNOT set the amount the same as what i spent.
with these troubles brought by them again and again, they showed NO apologies. when i questioned them, why did this happen, why she didn't deliver the receipt to me, why you cannot print my receipt, you are wasting my time.
they just said "we don't know what happened this morning" ---seems that none of their business. they said "you are wasting the other customer's time too" ---then encourage the other customer's to complain me.
i asked for more than 3 times "can i complain to your manager?" they didn't give me the answer, just yelling "you can do anything you want"
their voices very loud, they were yelling at me. they wasted my time, they did not solve my problem in a promt and polite way, they even let others to complain me.

Read moreI work at The Glen and I've been working in retail my whole life .I'm 62 and consider my customer skill to be really good .I pride myself in being able to work in all sorts of different situations that always arise in retail .Today I decided to get a tea at Ferguson Plarre which I have never done before .firstly there method of making a tea surprised me what a joke .I took my tea back to work to find I had a cup full of tea leaves .I thought ide take it back. Wow the guy looked at me and said I'm not getting a refund I should of asked for a teabag .I didn't want a refund I just wanted a cup of tea without all the tea leaves .He was so standoffish it was not funny never met such a rude person .In my experience he should not be in retail .He has no skills in how to handle a complaint and make a good outcome of the whole thing .I'm talking about a $4 tea .Bad Luck Ferguson Plarre. 15/7/23 We are back here again and it’s our weekly regular hangout for our coffee and tea leaves tea. And enjoying the weekly cake of day each time. Owner is as usual so friendly and never disappoints Just wanted to grab a latte and a snack. Came by and all the chicken pies were sold out about 2pm. Back again for the donut and flourless orange cake. Just too much froth for latte. Iced latte was the usual good.
18/2/23 Back again for a cuppa. Flat white iced earl grey in own cups. And a eclair as afternoon tea.
So grab a iced latte - served in the same cup as a hot one. Surprised but tasted really nice. Not diluted at all! Has a slice of French vanilla slice. Very tasty custard but the crust was not flaky enough. But overall ample varieties for snack or a meal if pies are available. Drinks...
