The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the friendly staff made me feel at home!
Their coffee is simply the best in the area! I'm a coffee enthusiast, and Focacceria Pugliese has brewed up some of the best cups I've ever tasted. Each sip was a flavor explosion, and their baristas seem to have a magic touch when it comes to coffee perfection!
The focaccia was fluffy, flavorful, and practically melted in my mouth. They have a lot and different food ranges to try and it changes every day so make sure you try everything!
The customer service is top-notch. The staff is attentive, always ensuring customers are satisfied. They have this remarkable ability to anticipate your needs!
Focacceria Pugliese is a culinary heaven. Whether you're in for a quick bite or a dining experience, they've got it all covered. Such a cozy little spot to enjoy a coffee with some authentic Italian food.
Let me start with the customer service, every single person in there treats you like family (and no you donāt need to be Italian for them to treat you like family). Big smiles and good morning (buongiorno) and genuine questions like āhow is your food?ā You can actually feel that itās a real question and not just a courtesy/mandatory training.
And the food is just out of this world. The bruschetta, oh god the bruschetta! Tomatoes so fresh and crispy, basil which seems like it was picked only moments ago on top of freshly baked bread (on site Iām assuming, I didnāt ask) with quality olive oil on top. Took me back to the streets of Italy (even though Iāve only been to Italy on my dreams).
Overall very happy with my experience and highly recommend to...

If you're like me been to Genoa in Italy, the birthplace of foccacia bread, then you would have agreed with me. The foccacia is fluffy in the top with lots of dimples dipped with olive oils and olive and sundries, exactly how it should be. I purposely came to South Melbourne Market for this. A lot of other people or tourists come to adore the Agatha pastry, but for me, this is the place where I can relive my memory of travelling in Italy. They have a food stall within the Woolworth plaza where I first discovered their foccacia. They have recently opened a restaurant connected to their stall in the mall. Next time, I will try their pizzas, which look...
