EDIT: To the owner re your reply - Please DO NOT ban the uber driver from picking up orders from the restaurant. Your staff made the mistake by stapling my receipt to the wrong bag. When the driver came to pick it up they asked for the order under my name and they were given the bag that had my name and receipt on it, which had been put on the bag incorrectly by your staff. The uber driver was actually extremely helpful and kind when she realised what had happened.
Take responsibility for your own errors, don't punish others.

(ORIGINAL REVIEW) The food at Gami Werribee is really great, however when I ordered a delivery through Uber my receipt was stapled to someone else's bag/order and I received someone else's food. I called the restaurant to advise that both I and someone else will be missing their order.
After explaining to 3 separate people what the issue was and finally getting them to understand the mistake, they told me essentially it is too bad as they are understaffed, that I can keep the food and apply for a refund from uber (can take several days for refund) and that I will have to order again through the app (40 min wait) if I want my order.
I don't eat any of the food that was delivered and someone else is missing their food too. I know it is not the customer service staff's fault that they are understaffed, but someone did staple my receipt to the wrong bag/packed the bag with the wrong order causing the issue.
Really disappointed with my experience, as mentioned above the food is usually very good and the staff...

We ordered big chicken platter and beers to sit and talk, we recieved our order at 9.10 pm and at 9.30 pm while eating the waitress comes and ask us to leave and take away the food with us. HOW RIDICULOUS IS THIS ??? In given circumstances you would let the customers know that closing time is 9.30 pm isn't it. We had NO idea and were ask to leave while eating and they given take away containers as well.. we still paid the full price for the meal but got kicked out while eating, how ridiculous.
