Grill’d Richmond is everything you want in a burger spot — consistent, fresh, and full of flavour, with a relaxed and friendly vibe that makes it a favourite for both a quick bite and a casual meal with friends.
The burgers are always excellent: fresh ingredients, soft buns, and patties that are cooked just right. What I love about Grill’d is that it never feels heavy or greasy — the flavours are clean and satisfying, and you can tell they use quality produce. There’s also a great range to suit everyone: beef, chicken, lamb, and plenty of delicious vegetarian and vegan options. The chips (especially the zucchini chips) deserve their own mention too — crispy, seasoned perfectly, and seriously addictive.
Service here is consistently good. The staff are friendly, efficient, and keep the atmosphere upbeat. Even when it’s busy, the wait times are reasonable, and the food always arrives fresh and well put together.
The Richmond location has a great casual atmosphere — modern, clean, and welcoming. It’s the kind of place you can stop into for a quick solo lunch, a weeknight dinner, or a relaxed catch-up with friends. The community-focused “Local Matters” jars at the counter are another nice touch, showing they care about giving back.
Grill’d Richmond delivers exactly what you’d hope for: great burgers, great service, and a relaxed space that keeps you coming back. Consistently one of the best options for casual dining...
Read moreI visited Grill’d Richmond recently and was honestly appalled by the overall experience. The staff seemed disorganised and unhappy, and it’s no surprise why—the manager (who was quite rude and abrasive) - the overweight one and another staff member with pink hair were both unprofessional and unpleasant to interact with. The vibe was tense and uncomfortable, even as a customer.
The restaurant itself was noticeably unclean, and it’s clear that cleanliness is not a priority here. I’ve worked in hospitality before, and I know the difference between a busy day and an unhygienic operation—this was the latter. What’s worse is knowing firsthand that the food preparation practices at this store are not up to standard. It genuinely made me feel uneasy about what I was being served.
Grill’d promotes itself as a brand that cares about quality and integrity, but based on my experience at this location, that couldn't be further from the truth. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this...
Read moreDecent burgers and decent service. Excellent chips with rosemary salt. This was my first visit so I selected the order of three mini burgers to get a sense of the style and flavours of this place. The burgers didn't take long to arrive and were delivered to the table well presented. The flavours were quite good but the burgers got cold very quickly, so by the time I'd finished my first mini burger the second was lukewarm and the third was then at room temperature. I don't know how this could be fixed but it would give them an extra star if so. The menu looked to have some good flavour combinations. I'll go back at least once to try the moroccan lamb, and the chilli beef, and definitely order more of those excellent chips. We left the restaurent pretty smartly as our seating area was invaded by a large group of undersupervised and noisy children. Next time I'll go during school hours...
