Hendricks Burgers & Salads — Restaurant in Melbourne

Really nice burgers. A little bit American style so focuses on the well cooked beef with extra melty cheese (the double I had was like that anyway) but the chips were dud. They had a reasonable flavour and could have been good but they were so cold and been cooked so far ago despite my wife heading to get the orders ourselves and getting there fast as we know how that can be a result of relying on delivery. And with the current lockdown we are only a couple mins or so from the restaurant. The potato gems were also extra oily and the darker colour to the chips both indicated old oil and they really missed a chance to make a decent meal great. Not sure if I'll be back. Just got home with my food took a bit of the burger only to realise it was half cooked still pink in. Called to complain and all the guy told me was to walk 30 mins back n forth to the shop, so they correct it. Why when I’ve paid for and already collected my food should I have to walk back around for him to correct his wrong. When I told him I wanted them to get a Uber driver to bring it around as they don’t have delivery drivers he said just come back tomorrow and hung up not sure how to spell his name as he wouldn’t say it loud enough roshi or something similar I think 0/10...

Maybe I'm in an excellent mood coz I had the day off. But came here with wife and son to have burgers, and I can't really dock any stars. Hendricks was more than happy to build a burger for my son, and I ordered the Bright Side, and my wife got the fish burger (barramundi). All the burgers were great, mine had plenty of fresh lettuce and tomato which gave it a really fresh and light taste, not oily at all. Chips were shoestring, which is a plus in my books. Decent prices. Nice indoor and outdoor sitting areas too. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Would come back again if...
