Hopheads revived my love for beer. Covered wall-to-wall in massive variety of craft beers both locally brewed and imported, Hopheads has an ale that'll satisfy any patron. My first experience there involved asking with one of the extremely knowledgeable staff there for a recommendation, and wow it did not disappoint. I highly recommend anyone does the same!

Their tap selection is always on-point and covers a wide gamut of types, so that's often the best place to start; at the bar, chatting to the staff, finding the right pint for you.

Wide range of craft beers on tap and in the fridges for you to drink at the bar or take away. Comfortable and well-spaced seating inside and outside the venue. Really good atmosphere, with attentive and knowledgeable staff. You can bring take away food in to have with your drink, and there is a wide range of choices on Pier St, so great to do that of an evening. Great beer range with some more sessionable ones on tap and a good variety in fridge. Friendly and relaxed - staff here are very sociable and helpful. Beer selection does lean towards the hipster extreme but there's still options if you like something more authentic. UPDATE: gloss is starting to wear off since these guys don't accomodate smokers so well (and don't even do their own food; what the?) and are consistently pretty exxy...
