I have been getting take away lunch from this store for months, about twice a week. I usually order on the phone, then pick up within 10min. So I did the same yesterday and today. Today when I went pick up my order, the staff said that I didn't pick up the order I placed yesterday, but eventually they worked out it was their internal communication error and apologised. So I took my lunch and went back to the office. Then I realised the kimbab they gave me taste refrigerated. Made me wonder if they assumed that it was my mistake to start with, so I should pay and eat the leftover food from yesterday?! I get tummy ache from eating leftover food, so I must only eat freshed made hot food, this is why I pay $16 for a lunch rather than bring food to work. I felt nauseous and bloated after eating the refrigerated kimbab the entire afternoon. To the store owner and staff, if you are reading this, it is wrong to sell overnight food your customers, there are people with health concerns and please be thoughtful with...

I bought 2 kimbab, 1 teokbokki, 2 small bowls of soup and 1 can of fanta, the price was 88$šŸ˜‚. Too expensive! Kimbab is nothing special, not worth the price. Teokbokki is too little, mostly vegetables. I also added more cheese, but it was so little that my friend thought I forgot to order more cheese🤔! Not only that, when I sat at the table waiting for my friends (because at that time I wanted to have dinner here) instead of explaining that there had to be enough people to be able to sit or giving some other reason, the staff kept telling me to go outside and wait! Girl thats so rude! At least give customers a reason instead of constantly telling them to get up and go out like that! The staff wearing glasses is rude, but the girl with the piercing is ok. When I ate, I had a stomach ache and nausea the next day. The food was really expensive and not of good quality. Will never come back here a second time and will also warn my friends...

Ordered the Budae soup and Kimbap which both tasted exceptional! The Kimbap had great flavour and bite, which is honestly hard to find in Melbourne where most Kimbap can taste quite bland. The soup was very hearty and delicious with plenty of meat, noodles and vegetables.

On top of the amazing food, the service of the owners is top tier! They both had a warm and friendly smile on their face all the time, whether it be when taking our orders, serving our food or settling our bill. My friend and I kept going on about the service and food as we walked back to our car.

We also loved the ambience of the restaurant. A cosy and homely feel that just highlights the vibes of the authentic family recipes made with love.

I've always walked past here saying I'll try it one day and I'm so glad I did! I don't think there's anything I could fault and I'll definitely be back!

Thank you so much for the...

The food here was phenomenal. A cosy little space and the owner makes the kimbaps fresh to order. The filling is quite substantial—more filling than rice which is a massive thumbs up. Getting the spicy rice cakes with cheese and ramen is a must have, so you can dip your kimbap in! They have vegetarian kimbaps available too.

A casual and compact place for hearty and delicious Korean gimbap and other traditional Korean dishes. I enjoy eating both Japanese sushi and Korean gimbap. However, the former tend to leave a sweet mouth-fill and the latter, to me, taste fresher with the inclusion of more cooked and pickled vegetables. Jang Go Mama's gimbap ($17-$23) caters to vegetarian and meat eaters - all freshly made with good flavour balance. The fat cylindrical roll has a thin ring of rice and a very generous ratio of fillings to rice. And if you prefer something warming for winter - the simple, but hearty and delicious dumpling soup ($22) is a good fit. Or even a refreshing bowl of cold noodles ($25) with a chilled vinegar-ish broth, topped with crunchy pear, red cabbage and cucumber, and full of sesame seeds aroma. Service is with a smile. Note: There are a also couple of kerb-side tables available
