👍🏻 Oh Gam Korean BBQ Buffet is an enticing culinary destination that will transport your taste buds to the vibrant world of Korean cuisine. From its inviting ambiance to the wide array of delectable dishes, this restaurant offers an enjoyable and immersive dining experience.

First and foremost, the atmosphere at Oh Gam is warm and welcoming, perfect for gathering with friends or family. The sleek and modern decor creates a pleasant environment, while the spacious layout ensures comfortable seating for all guests. The attentive and friendly staff members are always ready to assist, making the overall dining experience even more enjoyable.

The star of the show at Oh Gam is undoubtedly the barbecue. Each table is equipped with a grill, allowing you to cook your own meat and seafood to perfection. The selection of meats is extensive, ranging from marinated beef, pork, and chicken to succulent seafood options. The cuts are fresh, flavorful, and of high quality, ensuring a memorable dining experience for meat lovers.

Apart from the barbecue options, Oh Gam also offers an impressive variety of Korean side dishes, commonly known as banchan. From the classic kimchi to various pickled vegetables, each banchan is prepared with care and attention to detail. The flavors are well-balanced, showcasing the complexity and diversity of Korean cuisine. The restaurant also provides a wide range of rice, noodle dishes, and soups, catering to different preferences and dietary needs.

One standout feature of Oh Gam Korean BBQ Buffet is the wide selection of sauces and condiments available. From traditional Korean sauces like gochujang and doenjang to more adventurous flavors, you can customize and enhance the taste of your grilled meats and side dishes. The staff is always ready to recommend complementary combinations, adding an extra layer of culinary exploration.

However, it's worth noting that the restaurant can get crowded during peak hours, leading to a slightly longer wait time for refills and fresh meat. Additionally, while the overall quality of the food is excellent, some dishes may occasionally be less flavorful or lack the desired tenderness.

In terms of value, Oh Gam Korean BBQ Buffet offers a reasonably priced all-you-can-eat experience. The range of options available, including the barbecue and the extensive banchan selection, justifies the price and ensures a satisfying meal for the price paid.

In conclusion, Oh Gam Korean BBQ Buffet is a delightful destination for those seeking an authentic and flavorful Korean dining experience. With its inviting atmosphere, wide selection of meats, delicious side dishes, and attentive staff, it offers a memorable culinary journey. Despite minor setbacks during peak hours, the overall quality and value make Oh Gam a worthy choice for Korean BBQ enthusiasts and anyone looking to explore the rich flavors of...

I've always walked past OHGam on my way for some late night ramen but this time I thought I would give it a go along with a friend.

The service was acceptable and the food selection was decent for a Korean AYCE restaurant.

I wasn't expecting A grade quality meats but my main gripe wasn't the average meat quality but it was the bad marinades that were just really too strong and overly flavoursome.

Toning down the strong taste of the marinades would have done wonders for the overall food quality. I'm Asian and throughout my whole life I have eaten some strong dishes here and abroad in asia. Thai cuisine and rural Lao dishes can be very pungent and I've eaten plenty, my other reviews are proof that I have an interest in S.E.A cooking. So when I am complaining about how the meats were over marinaded I'm just not a person who has no basis to compare.

The strong marinade was made all the more noticeable by the cooking method, this being a tray on gas. Cooking meat like this is really brave as no other external factors can effect the taste of the meat unlike cooking on coal where the coal and open flames do affect the meat; cooking on tray the meats taste is almost fully dependant on meat quality and marinades. In this case OHGam really failed the taste test, my dining buddy took a few mouthfuls of meat and stopped and only had some rice with noodles. I tried to be fair and ate at least a few dishes worth of meat assortments but they all just tasted like the marinade, the chicken, beef or pork made no difference to taste.

If the owners of OHGam ever read this, please have a look and re-assess your marinades a bit. Try a difference soya sauce, vinegar and honey, mess around with the amounts and the marinades time. Please just do something before a competitor opens close by who will pay attention to...

This place was disappointing. Compared to any K bbq place this is the worst. Sure it's cheap and I know why. I truly believe they have hot food left over from their lunch time because of how dry.

We were seated at a table for two with a gas stove you cannot fit even 3 plates on the table I was forced to hold my plate otherwise its half off table.

The meat selection is good. You bbq on a hot plate with paper. The paper burns quick in the middle. The meat only cooks in middle and uneven on outside plate. They also leave on low flame that meat is so slow to cook.

The japchae and fried rice was terrible. The noodle was so hard and dry. I informed the guy and girl chatting at the till counter asking where I could throw it out. I told them it was dry and really bad and they didn't say anything or go check. I then tried fried rice and it too was dry and hard. There wasn't much and I concluded it was left overs from lunch time because it definitely was not fresh for dinner time patrons, considering there were only 8 people in whole place including us. I only enjoyed the tteokbokki and didn't dare try the fried chicken. I was surprised that they had no lettuce to wrap meat in but salad lettuce. I just ate the meat which was a good selection. Anytime our paper was burning someone would come swap out.

I wouldn't recommend here or come back. There are way better places for all you can eat with great food, hot food options, better dessert, meat quality, table space, vegetable options like bbq king,...

Value for money! Nice food. The place is not so spacious but we never felt that limitation, we have enjoyed our lunch. Staff (even though he is alone) was friendly and efficient. Accessibility to the main street is a plus. Update. Its more cheaper to ear during lunch time around 25ish than dinner 30+ish ... I think they already increased the price post pandemic. I also notice that during the 1.5 hours window, the precooked foods are seldom replenished. Examples are the noodles, the soy garlic chicken etc making this as not best option anymore for a midrange korean barbeque option (downside the 1.5 hrs time window) . The only advantage it has is the accessibility in main Lonsdale st Update : After pandemic, we dined again here during Sat busy night. I have to downgrade the food from 4 to 3 stat due to the fact that the precooked food is not being replenished on time. The price tag of $39 per 1.5 hrs to me is too much. As a background, there are two categories of food being served here - precooked and need-to-be-cooked. Last time, there were plenty of choices for precooked foods like korean fried chicken, noodles fried rice stir fries etc. , now there heaps of empty trays and the reolenshments were too slow in span of 30 to 45 mins, i only observed once restockinh of prexooked for two types of dish. I think around 3 out of 6 trays empty.

The price was not too bad actually especially for all you can eat, however …. yes ! The food was a big problem !! We entered around 11PM, it said it opened till 1AM, so we came inside, and the waiter didn’t tell us they won’t add food anymore, so when we went to the meat area… there were only maybe 2 - 3 dishes that you could take … not mentioned hot food … only a dish was full ( veggie fried rice, I think because it was veggie …😂😂😂) It was my first time … I did not have food could take when I chose all you can eat buffet, and around 12:00AM, they came said … you only have another 15 mins … hello? It was 90 mins … and how come we entered after 11PM, and you said we only got 15 mins to eat after 12PM ? ( by the way, there’s no food could take now , because they had already clean the raw area… some of them had taken the clippers , too) Anyway… I won’t go back to it… it was a really terrible experience, if you don’t want people eat that much, then you shouldn’t sell all you can it … If you want people eat happy, then you should tell people you won’t add anything after which session or you should come to table ask do we need anything because of kitchen might start cleaning … you have many options to deal with that … and you guys chose the worst way … clean the area and without add anything there for your “ all you can eat “ customer !
