Kang's Woks Asian Restaurant — Restaurant in Melbourne

Was a very quiet Thu evening around 7.45pm.. cold and wet outside. Thought we’d pop in here for a quick asian meal. Restaurant was empty except for a couple seated at a table for a 4 person setting. I said hello.. we don’t have a booking but could we get a table. I then asked for the one at the window seating for 4! Waiter says and out right NO you can sit here.. tiny table for two. We may get busy soon and that’s a big table.. I pointed out the couple at the table for 4.. ignored this. Food was plentiful not amazing taste wise..I was ignored me for the rest of the night by the waiter..who spoke only to my friend. This would be a reasonable justification if the restaurant was a busy place with a large turnover of tables..however no one else came into the restaurant for the duration of our meal .. we were there for over an hour and 20min. Very very rude,unprofessional and unaccomodating...

Food was ok. However the staff’s attitude made the dining experience a negative one. We came in at 1.30pm on a Sunday. Our group were split into two tables of 3 and 5 which we had no issues with.

Our table of 5 asked for an extra chair as there were only 4 chairs set up.

The staff pointed at the table of 3 and said, there’s an extra chair there.

We travel with 4 young kids with multiple bags which were placed on the one said chair.

We asked if we could use one of the other chairs from the 4+ empty tables and was told word for word “I’m not going to move the chair from those tables. It’s Sunday and it’s going to get busy”. We couldn’t be bothered responding.

The restaurant was 50% occupied and as the meal progressed, even less so. Not to mention we would have had no issues freeing up the chair with the bags had they became busy. The lack of flex and warmth is a shame, as the...

Just ate at your restuarant ..l paid 60 dollars for a microwaved meal l thought was a newly created meal the meat was like rubber l know what microwaved food tastes like and the texture.lm really disappointed that l even came in the food was the worse Asian food l have ever eaten ..it was brought to us really quickly. This tells me it wasn't freshly prepared and l do believe chicken chicken can only be reheated once after being cooked and l hope for your sake l don't get food poisoning ..l paid 60 dollars for one of the worst.meals l have ever eaten l will never set foot in your restuarant .ever again l left most of my meal .on the plate..l dfont want to make a scene ..than you for ruining my night with my...
