Bad news travels fast and no news is good news.
You know I see a lot of reviews on here complaining about the quality of the food, the lack of service or lack of hygiene and cleanliness.
And I'm not saying that if that's the case when you ordered from here that you shouldn't have the right to say so, but all
I'm saying is just remember that in a lot of the cases that the staff are predominantly teenagers or at least very young new adults and are doing there best under the circumstances at a usually very busy store.
Be critical but go easy and try to think of some positives as in sure that's how you would like to be critiqued if the shoe was on the other foot.
So In as much as people are quick to give bad reviews when things don't go right for them, I'm going to take a guess and say that these same people are silent and can't find their tongues when the service, the food and the experience is actually good. Am I right?
So I'm going to give credit where credit is due.
Tonight at shortly before 9:30pm, I placed an online order at the store and walked inside to collect rather than wait in the long queue at the drive through.
Upon arriving inside, within minutes, a very young girl, possibly the manager, asked for me and explained that they were out of three of the items I required in one of the box meals that I ordered.
The filet burger, the original recipe chicken and the potato and gravy.
She explained to me that they'd be happy to refund that portion of my order or they could make two out of the three items fresh being the chicken and the fillet burger but that I'd have to wait 5 minutes for the fillet burger and 15 minutes for the chicken and that the potato and gravy they simply didn't have and could be substituted.
And once I said that would be fine, she didn't hesitate and went to work.
At that I said that regardless of how the food tastes that I would be giving her a good review for her service and commitment because at 30 minutes before closing she made sure that the customer, me, was satisfied.
So, Shandra,(hope the spelling is correct) Thank you so much.
And I am happy to say that the fillet burger was delicious according to my 81 year old mother and the freshly cooked chicken, nuggets and chips were on par as well.

Read moreI don't ever leave feedback with all just negative comments. But with this store, the staff, managers and the cleanliness, I have little choice. No body seems to listen at this store. From ordering your meal to trying to obtain something a little bit extra, like fixing an issue. Notice the manager who replies to some of these reviews. Rebecca can't even go that small extra step by NOT copy and pasting the exact same reply every time making you feel very undervalued as a customer. Actually giving a personalised reply like she actually cares about the service she is in charge of upkeeping would be a great start like other companies do with these reviews. If you make a complaint, don't expect to be taken seriously and to have the issue rectified. They will make reason's why they can't fix the problem. In fact I just got off the phone with a manager with a complaint about yet another mistake with a very large and expensive order. His reply was that not only could he not help me, but flat out refused to rectify the error. Instead he made me feel like a thief who was just trying to con them out of some free chicken. Although I didn't even get around to asking that the order be rectified by replacing it at another time. I DIDN'T want a refund, money or anything else. He ended the call with a "Have a great day." after insulting me, calling me a liar and a thief, refusing to rectify the issue and upsetting me greatly. This is not atypical for the customer service support. The food various from different times of the day and actual days. The cleanliness of the store is below par, with rubbish both in the store on the tables to outside. One reason for this is because the bins are always overflowing and staff don't bother to clean up after a customer doesn't get it in the bin. The tables appear rarely wiped down. Floors are sticky and dirty always. The toilets, although upgraded, make you feel dirtier after using them and washing your hands than before. Arriving to rosebud kfc, my partner and i waited in the drive through line for 10 minutes, after realising no progression to the line, we decide to park the car and go inside the kfc for quicker service, again we waited in line for a further 10 minutes before i was able to pay for our food. We had been waiting over an hour and no ones order had been called, the staff had ignored everyone waiting in the store for their orders even people who were there for over an hour, even though we saw chips, chicken and even burgers were ready as it was very visible to everyone in the restaurant. After going up to the counter numerous times about why we have waited so long, we couldn’t get a honest answer as to why. I figured out that menulog orders were a higher priority than to the people waiting in the restaurant and the drive through line. After a hour and a half we looked at the screen to see our order number was finally under ‘Orders ready’ thinking we were getting our order at last, but then one of the staff members bumped it off the screen and cancelled our order, we then had to alert the staff member that they had removed our order and said that they would prepare then and there. Many people were asking for refunds and majority of the staff lacked manners and adequate customer service.
