It’s a cracking place. The food was absolutely spot on. Beautiful prawn rice paper rolls. As fresh as a daisy. The pho with crackling pork was utterly delicious too. The lovely staff at BunMee Bay Rosebud are passionate, super friendly and really hard working. Tha delicious bunmee pho takes you back to the very place the dish originated.. the stock has its authentic clear, bold, smokey, sweet spicey smooth flavour.. take your pallet close your eyes while slurping on those silky white noodles and your back on your trip in Vietnam. As a proud Vietnamese meat eater myself, I am in disbelief at how INCREDIBLE the mock meat offered at this place is!! My partner is vegetarian and this is one of the only places where the mock meat somehow tastes BETTER than the regular meat! I have no idea how they do it whilst keeping that authentic Vietnamese flavour, but if we had more places like this in Melbourne I think more people like myself would realise how viable of a protein mock meat can be!
