Lukumama — Restaurant in Melbourne

Lukumama has an extensive range of desserts including loukoumades, Turkish ice cream, baklava and thickshakes.

We ordered to share the baklavades and blueberry loukoumades with sides of vanilla and forest berry ice cream and biscoff baklava. For drinks we opted for an iced latte and iced matcha latte.

The highlight for me was the loukoumades. Made fresh to order, the dough is crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. Both the baklavades topped with honey, pistachio paste and crushed pistachios and blueberry featuring loukoumades filled with vanilla cheesecake and topped with blue berry jam were delicious. I also highly recommend ordering some ice cream to go with the loukoumades. The Turkish ice cream was firmer in texture than regular ice cream but just as tasty and it beautifully complimented the loukoumades.

The baklava was quite sweet and is best suited for a sweet tooth. The texture of the pastry was lovely, crispy and flaky. If you’re looking to balance the sweetness of the desserts I’d recommend an iced drink over a shake. Both the iced latte and iced matcha latte were refreshing and unsweetened.

Overall I had a great experience at Lukumama. Everything we tried was delicious and I recommend you check them when you’re next out for dessert. I rate it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ out of 5. Thanks very much...

If you are a big fan of donuts like us, you are going to love the huge range of toppings for Loukoumades. There are over 15 options available, and you can customise your own toppings too. Choose from traditional (with honey, cinnamon and walnut) to options such as Lotus Biscoff or Snickers. If that does not satisfy your sweet tooth, you can even fill your Loukoumades with Vanilla Cheesecake or Vanilla Custard.

With the weather cooling down, we cannot think of anywhere better to be other than Lukumama Desserts in their comfy dining area. Add a coffee and you will be happy as Larry! The kids will love watching their lovely staff make the Loukoumades fresh in front of you. These delightful donuts are crunchy on the outside and light on the inside. The filled ones add an extra indulgence, and are the perfect treat to share.

Appreciate your updated review - its a lot more professional than the previous one. I may travel a lot to get to your store. I wouldn't mind canceling the order if you can compensate for my wasted time and effort due to delay on your side.

Alternatively, if you know every single order is going to be delayed, it is probably best to put something like this in the driver's note : "there will be a delay with every order we prepare - it's best to expect extended wait times" - that way drivers that are not familiar with your store will be informed before starting the trip to your store.

If nothing is done to solve grievances like this, I wouldn't be surprised to see more low star reviews - after all these are genuine issues drivers are having at your store.
