As I was in South Korea earlier this year, for 3 months, I was happy to find a Korean restaurant in Hawthorn where I'm staying at the moment To realize that it even serves some K-street food was a nice surprise on top I hence didn't hesitate to go try it, and I can now say I'm glad I did First, the menu leaflet is unique, as before the food & drinks items you get to see an introduction about different points, including Sinjeon history (which dates back to 1999, in Daegu South Korea) Then the menu items, you can have topokki, kimbap, cupbap, tui-gim, corndog, fried chicken, sik-sa... Lots of options Drinks too are typical, with whitegrape fruit juice, korean sweet pear juice, milky soda... Menu is well illustrated (and detailed), and you even have food models in the window display to help if needed I decided to start with a K-corndog, which was super cheesy, loved it Then I had beef bulgogi bibimbap, with soy sauce and spicy sauce on the side so I could add them just to my liking, which was perfect. Beef bilgogi & bibimbap are 2 very famous items if the Korean cuisine, so, combining them is like the ultimate combo to me, tested and approved in Korea, and here again And then I had milky soda, which I had missed trying while in Korea, and it was an interesting first, worth trying I would say, you may start to love it even The restaurant has 9 tables, and can sit 38 I believe (8x4 + 1x6) K-pop music being played Staff is efficient I enjoyed both my food and the place, which brought me lots of memories back from my time in South Korea Kamsahamnida, Recommended!

I'm currently study at Swinburne university and I'm happy for find the great affordable Korean restaurant near the uni. This is my first time to eat in there and I knew it opened a few months ago. So, I felt impressed with the food and the service. The menu is extensive, with a wide variety of Korean dishes to choose from. I've tried the cupbap, k-dog and and fried chicken. They were all delicious as well as portion sizes are generous, and the prices are very reasonable. The service is also very good. The staff are friendly and attentive, and they're always happy to make recommendations. Previously, I have been ate at the nearest ones like Nene Chicken, Gami and Seoul Night. However, a new and diverse Korean restaurant like Sinjeon K - Street is the best one that I tried. Overall, I think Sinjeon K-Street Hawthorn is a great option for Korean food near Swinburne University. The food is delicious, the prices are reasonable, and the service is good. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good Korean meal in this suburb.

Came to try it for the first time. Arrived at the restaurant at 8 pm on a weekday. There weren't many people. You can order with a QR code at the table or walk up to the counter and pay in cash. I like that the menu has clear pictures. The shop plays Korean music, is simply decorated, and has bright lights. The food was served quickly. Overall, the food was quite greasy. The sauce was a bit sweet for almost every menu we ordered. There were 2 of us and we ordered the mix and match set for 52 dollars. We couldn't finish it, especially the fried chicken, which was quite greasy.

The main issue was the poor service we received throughout our meal.

When we tried to get our server's attention to request a larger plate for sharing dishes, we were met with an abrupt and rude "What?!" This set an unpleasant tone for the rest of our dinner.

The most concerning part of our experience was when a staff member began cleaning nearby tables while we were still eating. They were spraying cleaning solution in close proximity to diners, which felt inconsiderate and potentially unsanitary. This made us uncomfortable and detracted from our enjoyment of the food.

I hope the management takes note and provides better training to their staff on customer service and appropriate cleaning practices. We went 11 July around 7:30pm She was wearing glasses and black puffer vest, asian with bleached...
