Malcolm Corner by Matcha Kona — Restaurant in Melbourne

Underappreciated and somehow a hidden gem. We stumbled over to this place after our local was closed and were shocked at two things - the extremely simple and delicious sandwhiches, and the price. With mine costing $9 and my partner taking the grand total of $11, with our combined total being $27. Simply unheard of for South Yarra.

Walking in you're hit with the undeniably aromatic hit of bacon and other breakfast products. While we couldn't order coffee since it was so late in the day, and the sourdough options were out due to stock finshing, we were still really impressed with how quick the food was prepared and how delicious it was. I can't get over the price. This would be a perfect lunch option for anyone working or living nearby.

The space isn't activated super well in terms of layout, furniture and the view of appliances while eating but natural light is lovely, a seat by the window is relaxing and everyone dining around us was respectful, quiet, and also seemed to enjoy themselves. I will...

Cheap eat around the neighbourhood but food is just ok.

Third time here and ordered 2 meals today. One meal was served and we waited the other meal for 30 minutes until we decided to leave and just pay for the first meal because we can't wait longer as lunch break was over. We just waited in case it really took long to make the meal but it was still not served until I finished the first meal. When I was about to pay, cashier charged me for both meals and I said the other meal never came out but the staff did not even realise that. Place was not busy and staff came out to serve the other table but never realised that our other food was not served.
