Mango Tree Thai Bentleigh — Restaurant in Melbourne

We've been going to Mango Tree Mount Waverley for several years as it's close by.... It is our #1 thai place...it is always packed and booked out for a reason. We thought we would try the Bentleigh one when we happened to be in the area... Glad to see Bentleigh location follows the same high quality decor and attention to detail with quality food and gluten free options..Byo wine a bonus also.. The staff member was very pleasant this week when we were there for lunch, late July 2025... Thankyou for the great food and we hope the new location works out well...

One of the best Thai restaurants in Melbourne. Everything was spot on - the massaman beef was a stand out, melts in your mouth, chicken cashew was good but really salty (I think that’s just being true to the recipe or cuisine maybe). Quality of food is amazing. It’s definitely worth a visit and we are already planning to come back! Front of house may be understaffed, perhaps it’s a case of finding the right staff mix to meet the peak times. They’ve definitely put a lot of effort into the decor and it adds to the ambiance.

I recently visited my favourite Thai restaurant, Mango Tree in Bentleigh, and once again, it absolutely delivered! This place is hands down Melbourne’s best Thai. Every dish I ordered was spot-on: full of flavour, beautifully presented, and consistently delicious. The service is always warm and attentive, the atmosphere is relaxed with good energy, and most importantly, the food never disappoints. Whether you're a regular or trying it for the first time, you’ll walk away satisfied every time....
