This is one coffee episode that did not end well. A truly gruesome gastronomical experience that will be hard to forget. The coffee was that bad that 6 months on and I'm still trying to forget the bitter, burnt, acidic taste, that was left in my mouth after trying to consume a cup of char that this vendor had the audacity to call coffee. The first instance that all was not going to end well was when I ordered, 1 Long Black and 1 Americano. The young lady taking the order passed it on to the Barista. She called out for 2 Long Blacks. When I corrected her she told me it didn't matter as a Long Black and an Americano were the same anyway. In the next instance the Barista, after grinding the coffee, didn't tamp it. She then extracted the coffee into a cup and the blasted it with hot steam in order to fill the cup. The only sure thing out of this visitation is it is the last time I will ever go there again.

We’re weekly market goers and often stop here for our coffees and babycinos. We come with 4 KeepCups in hand and the staff always do their best to get our orders in the right cups and minimise the tantrums (kid’s, not staff). Coffees are a little pricier than some other vendors but the babycinos are free. You get what you pay for though, so happy to cough up for quality! We’ve also hired trolleys a few times which make a big shop much easier. I love the names on them and was stoked to find two with my sister and I’s names - simple pleasures :)

Good coffee but not hot enough. As it is in Queen Victoria Market, it’s usually crowded during weekends. I got latte and mocha. In a few minutes, I got my order. Though I immediately consumed it, it wasn’t hot enough which was disappointing given the cold weather. To be fair, it was near closing time and I didn’t specifically ask for extra-hot coffee, and I assumed it will be hot. The coffee taste was good and I’d visit again if I get the chance. They seem to have a free coffee offer if we buy their coffee beans. Thanks.

The café is quite good but they only have take away cups so dining in is not the best experience.

From a business perspective, the name is not catchy and undermines the successful Cafe side of the business. If they still want to do both they should do some rebranding, such as renaming it to something that still incorporates both but identifies it as the modern café it is. Something like 'The Coffee Trolley' or anything else that might get people's attention and identify it as a competing factor in Melbourne's massive cafe industry. It's a shame because they've got the best café location and are the first thing that many people will see in the market but there are only 30-odd reviews compared to other market cafes with many more. This is, among other things, evidence that some changes should be made to capitalise on the good quality product they...

I can not believe how disgusting the long haired dirty blonde lady was here! I asked if it was possible to give me tap water in a takeaway cup, as i gave the homeless man food and i had no water with me. Her reply was there is a water fountain. What a low life of a human. I understand you cant help everyone, but i asked politely and i thought what a nice thing to do for someone. She worked on the 29th of november. I would have purchased myself for 3 other people, and paid a $1 for the cup but she did not even allow me to offer this. Because she couldn’t spare tap water and shut me down, this place can go to hell! Where is...
