Unfortunately the Popcorn Mudslide was very disappointing As per our regular ritual I ordered a cake for my partners birthday this year and had a terrible experience to be honest Cake was dry inside and only outside had some sort of icing but definitely as we went towards inner part of the cake its just super dry and to top it off found 2 sticks inside the cake Called the owner but staff answered and passed the msg to the owner then he calls back another day and obviously I couldn't answer and leaves a voice msg which I couldn't understand a word he said regarding the cake then when I called back or even texted nomore reply 😡😡😡 We both lactose intolerant and my partner is vegan so I thought this shop would be a lifetime option for us cake lovers but after this experience I don't think we ever gonna order your cake again and Specially how they handled the matter Nothing is resolved and I wasn't expecting my money back but they showed lack of care towards customer which is quite disappointing To mention when I rang and staff answered and when I was explaining about the sticks the guy was even laughing 🤬🤬🤬 Great customer service ey 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 Sorry but keep your money and shuv your cake We just never gonna return to your shop for sure

Read moreI would never recommend them for their celebration cakes. I ordered a vegan cake for my birthday and was disappointed that the writing on the cake was illegible. Upon pick up, I asked if they would be able to rewrite the birthday message to which staff stated it would cost $35 for them to rewrite the message. This was very disappointing as I did not think it was a fair price to pay given the cake already cost $70. Whilst I understand that I would be paying for staff time to rewrite the message, I do not believe charging 50% of the cost of the cake to simply rewrite a message is fair. I felt disappointed that no other options were offered and felt that they priced the rewriting as such to deter me from making (what I believe to be) a reasonable request. Staff did not show any empathy or friendliness and made me feel like I was making an unjustified request. Any person ordering a birthday cake would have reasonable expectations that the cake would have a legible message written on it and would feel disappointed when it’s for a special occasion that only comes once a year. When my friends and family tasted the cake, they all agreed that it did not taste good. The texture was dense, the flavour of the cake and icing was not sweet and did not resemble white chocolate raspberry at all. SHORT VERSION: ordered and paid for cake in advance. No cake there for pick up. New cake made next day, I had to book taxi to collect it and it was the wrong colours (very noticeable in the middle of a candy buffet. Devastated :(
LONG VERSION: I organised with MNG 3 weeks prior to my event to create a cake for me. I sent images of the colour scheme and the customer service was EXCELLENT. I paid before the due date and was emailed confirmation. On the day, after driving 1.5hrs, I arrived to find that my cake was not made and they had no record of it. The GORGEOUS and super lovely manager(?) was so apologetic and did organise a partial refund and also arranged for the baker to have it ready for the next day (morning of the event). I then had to organise and book a taxi to collect it and take it to the event. All without being able to see it first. On the day, the cake arrived but was a terrible fluoro green colour (not pale blue and pale green). In all, staff were VERY helpful in helping me out but this is still unacceptable. The effort you go to in creating and maintaining a theme and keeping organised...destroyed swiftly!
