🤩 Authentic Korean Fare 😍
Tucked away in the middle of an industrial estate is a little shop punching well above its weight in wholesome and authentic Korean fare. Setup looks basic until you notice that they’ve invested in uncommonly comfy chairs.
Captained by ajunma and her mum, service is quick and friendly. Always packed at lunchtime due to the lunch specials, the small kitchen keeps up even with the non-stop stream of takeaway orders.
The food when it comes is a sight to behold. Tasty sides accompanying our mains which was on this day - the spicy beef rib stew with glass noodles and potato, and for the missus - the soybean stew with mackeral.
I’m a spice fiend and this spicy beef rib stew still set off fireworks in my mouth. Supremely tender fall-off-the-bone ribs - perfectly portioned and bathed in that thick bodacious sauce with glass noodles. Sublime on top-grade rice.
My partner thoroughly enjoyed her piping hot soybean stew and well-seasoned fried mackeral too, also served with 3 yummy sides. Damage? $18 each, plus 5% discount if you pay in cash.
The reviews are legit - this place is a must-try if you miss no-nonsense homecooked Korean fare. This joint is worth the search for it!👍

2024 update
The new seasonal baby octopus set is stunning. Blanched, marinated and served with peppery Perilla leaves and mint with a sweet lemony mayo sauce - blew our minds 🤯. Highly...
Read moreSuper cute little restaurant hidden within the backstreet industrial area of moorabbin. Surprisingly very busy during lunch time and you may need to line up as it is quite small.
There is one lady serving and one lady cooking so with the lunch rush you may need to wait a little longer but the food is worth it.
We ordered the mackerel with soybean stew as well as the spicy beef stew and both were very delicious and tasted like what you would get in Korea. A note on the spicy beef stew, if you can't handle spice then this is not the dish for you. Although it has the typical sweetness that you find in these dishes, the spice is strong and builds. As someone who loves spice, I still felt it. I think it would be a lot if you don't love spice.
For two people it was around $40, each dish was around $22 but if you pay cash you get a 5% discount.
They also have an sns promo that will get you a free drink (post on social media).
It is worth trying to make the time to visit during the week as they are only open on weekdays.
They also have some larger quantity dishes that you can purchase to...
Read moreTrying to understand why people are raving about this place but turned out to be a disappointment.
Tried their special today (spicy baby octopus), it’s good but nothing special.
I probably came at wrong day which was a public holiday, queue was long and their queue system is not good- despite writing down the name, number of pax + phone number on a sticky note, the restaurant skipped it and just came out of restaurant to call whoever standing in front to be seated. When I found out that my number was skipped I was told because am alone so they seated 2 people first- not sure if this is making any sense.
Finally got seated and ordered, was then abruptly being asked to move to another table while another waitress trying to reconfirm my order as they ran out of the soup I ordered. An awkward and somewhat humiliating experience.
I totally understand that restaurant is busy, small and clearly they are not capable in managing demand. Hope this review will help improve their...
