I had an unfortunate experience here today. First the menu was not the same to what's online. Really dissapointed by the options but hey its $10 burger day. I'll try a chicken burger. Then I ordered a 'tropical porn' cocktail, what arrived tasted like nothing but lemonade. I took it back and bought myself a wine wasting the $16 on a cocktail that was not worth drinking. When my food arrived they bought the wrong burger. I can't eat onion nor garlic. So I ordered the chicken burger with 'mayo' and received a beef burger with onion rings? Not ideal. So they "remade" my order while I watched chicken burger after chicken burger go out for other tables. 20 minutes later my chicken burger arrived which would have been great, if it wasn't slathered in garlic aioli which is very different to 'Mayo.'

My suggestions, please be honest about what's on your menu. If you have Aoili on a burger SAY THAT don't say Mayo.

Kapitan is a decent sized Malaysian restaurant that offers authentic Malaysian cuisine at reasonable prices. In fact, the food is so good that I have decided to go back again soon. I ordered Curry chicken, roti canai, vegetable laksa and Nasi Lemak. All dishes were balanced in terms of flavours, spices, presentation and portion. The food was also served quickly. Roti canai wasn't too thick and therefore was crispy. Thick rotis can give you a taste of raw flour.

The owners and the waiting staff are polite and professional.

There is enough space to have a party. I guess the restaurant can accommodate up to 80-100 guests at one time. The are three separate sections making it easier to hold a private party without bothering others.

Parking is available on the street but there is also a free 3 hr parking about 200 metres away.

Came here with a couple of girlfriends for late afternoon drinks and dinner on a Saturday. We had previously booked for another date which had to be rescheduled due to there being a private function at the venue. For the inconvenience, the Manager went above and beyond and offered us complimentary items for our new reservation date. Service was delightful, food was delicious and very reasonable priced! cocktails also amazing. This will definitely be a new regular local venue for us! Thank you so much!...
