No18 Ramen exemplifies the essence of Japanese culinary artistry, where even the simplest dishes are crafted with meticulous attention. The menu boasts an array of delectable offerings, from skewered okonomiyaki with a perfect savory-sweet glaze to incredibly succulent pan-fried vegetable gyoza with crispy bottoms. Standout items include addictively crunchy renkon chips, visually striking purple rice sushi, and a seaweed salad with good texture and tangy dressing. The restaurant maintains a pristine, family-friendly atmosphere. As you settle your bill, prepare to be enticed by an exquisite display of Japanese confections and beverages near the cashier, adding a final touch of temptation to your dining experience.

What a nice meal. Service: the young woman that served me was just beautiful. So friendly and appreciative of our custom. Shop (whilst in COVID-19 mode) was clean and with a nice feel. Food: we ordered the edamame, seaweed salad, renkon chips. For main pork gyoza, ohako and hells red ramen with a chicken karaage. Well more than enough for five of us. Overall: nice and standard, not comparative with ajisen ramen but still a great grab on a week night or weekend and close to the middle of Fitzroy street so convenient. Thanks for the feed and I would definitely try again. See below for the menu and the opening hours. If passing by give it a go.

This little ramen bar situated on the main strip of Fitzroy street in St Kilda. Came in for a quick bite and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food. The curry was nice and seasoned perfectly. The ramen was spicy and a little oily but overall still very nice. The only downside is that the noodle is too soft to my liking and lacking that chewiness. I only got 3 pieces of Karaage for my curry which I find steep for the $15 I'm paying for the dish. Food - 6 Service - 7 Vibe - 6 Price - $$$

There isn't a link for Xword so I'll have to leave it here instead. I haven't had the pleasure yet of experience Ramen 18 but I have travelled to their sister established X Word every day for over a year and it's my favourite part of every day. By far the best coffee I've ever had. Period ( and I might add I've worked as a barista for years) The service is always incredible. Super fast with their take away. The only time they aren't is when there is a cue of people out the front and I think that...
