It seemed busy when I got there. Young boy was friendly but didn't know well about the menu.$12 mediterranean salad was very shocking.... Out door settings as well as decor inside was nice. Inside seating wasn't available. I saw one staff got paid cash by a manager or owner (They gave an envelope to the staff and name was written on front of the enevelop) There is another one in Dockland, I will visit and try one day. Even though, location is great, I don't think I will return to this one again.

Pony Boy is an absolute gem! We had the fish and chips, and it’s easily one of the better spots in the area for this classic meal. The fish was fresh and perfectly cooked, while the chips were crispy and golden – just how they should be. The service was fantastic – friendly and welcoming, and it’s clear they put a lot of effort into making the place child-friendly, which was a big plus for us. Highly recommend Pony Boy for a laid-back and delicious meal. We’ll definitely be back!

Great chatting with Trif (short for Trifon, yes, he's Greek and you would've guessed it from the fresh wall tiled artwork and on the ceiling). He named the business as his cousin liked the character of Pony Boy from the book The Outsiders. Tried the Old School Fish & Chips with Flake being the fish. Light, crispy batter with a mild tartare and large wedge of lemon. Chips, terrific. 10/10 With a bottle of Remedy Organic Kombucha Passionfruit flavour, $22. Great value. I'll be back!

An absolute shame. Food is a solid 10/10, it was the go to fish and chip spot for me. Service from a young dark haired girl wearing grey Dickies pants completely ruined the spot. Customer service was beyond terrible from this team member. Telling a customer, who is quite clearly older than you “no you definitely ordered this my love” was unbelievably condescending, effectively telling the customer you’re wrong and I am right. Rather than trying to solve a problem, the team member instead chose to take a different route. Customer service is definitely not on the cards for this team member. Leaning on the counter, hand on hip as customers come in and barely greeting them. If you don’t want to be at work, best to not show up again and save the hassle for...

Had an amazing Sunday Lunch at this place. We had a beautiful Seafood Salad & some Burgers made by their Chef Marco (that's what I heard when their wait staff called him) unbelievable chef, fully controlled even under pressure making sure every dish he sent or cooked was in line. Honestly, that guy knows what he's doing. The burger he made for my son was just spot on, I had a bite and it is absolutely tasty & probably the best burger I ever tasted in a while. We will definitely be coming back & get more of their burgers. Great location, but they need more wait staff tho. All in all. They deserved my first 5 star google review. Big Thank you to the chef & others for making our lunch...

Pony Boy is a cross between a gourmet F&C shop and a Greek restaurant. We went on a night where they were regularly carving from a large Gyros rotisserie in the back yard (like a big family event). Sitting outside alfresco it had that feel, one big family event. We started with calamari, moved onto a fish and a prawn taco (as entree) and ended with a healthy size mixed meat Gyros with both a Greek and grain salads. These were all well portioned, clean and ultimately scrumptious, particular callout for the tacos. Can recommend Pony Boy without hesitation, Look to go anytime though try an evening when they are serving the Gyros rotisserie meat. You shouldn't be...
